“We were looking for somewhere to stay whilst exploring the Serra da Estrela Nature Park and also to relax after 10 days on the motorcycle. A lot of people recommend Covilha, but for us Loriga was the right choice. Casa da Cantareira is well equipped with everything you would need, we needed to do some washing and the washing machine was put to use, having a garage to house the bike was a bonus.
Tiago was an excellent host offering advice on where to eat, walk and visit (so many that we will have to go back). Fresh bread being delivered in the morning courtesy of Tiago was a lovely touch and much appreciated. He also stayed in touch whilst we were there to ensure everything was OK”
