Perfect location, at the heart of the city. The host was very nice. I was pleasantly surprised from the basket with snacks and water. There was even a small kitchen with all you need.

Small space, not much room to place luggage. Taking bags up staircase is difficult though host did offer to help me and I declined :)

We loved everything. My only critique/ suggestion is that the rooms should be able to close/ lock from the inside without the need for a key. A few times I stepped out I couldn't lock the door as my husband stayed behind. Leaving him locked in and unable to get out was not ideal and dangerous. We also did not ask for a second key and don't even know if it was possible, but we still feel the lock should be changed. The front door to the apartment lock for example should be the one in the rooms :)

We loved the apartment's decor and comfort. The colour scheme was soothing and relaxing. Beautiful details throughout. You can tell the owners really put love into this project. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Viana. Cafe, pharmacy, restaurants, bakeries and grocery store at our doorstep. Lovely mall a short walk up the road with a fantastic food court. The staff went above and beyond to help and answer our questions and requests. As a chef, I loved that I could cook my own food. Being "home" in Portugal always makes me want to use our amazing ingredients. I made a lovely Morcela sausage and salt cod risotto. This was an amazing place to stay in Viana do Castelo. It's overlooks a beautiful praça, the kitchenette in the suite is incredibly well appointed - the best I have ever seen anywhere. The details were all there - extra blankets and pillows, a bottle of water, some snacks. The owner is a lovely person, very warm and friendly. This was a much needed getaway for me, and I felt myself relax and ease into my time there, and enjoyed every minute in the room.

The appartment is super well managed. It is clean and very well equiped. The view is wonderful, the shower is relaxing and the bed is super comfy. We stayed there with our two small kids, slept super well and had incredibly romantic morning! Thank you!

It was a historical room located in the town square. The detail was beautiful, with tall windows facing the square and lovely woodwork. Everything we needed for a great visit was provided.

The apartment on the second floor had very steep stairs to bring up luggage. However the beautiful building, lovely unique furniture and display cases, make it all worthwhile.

It was a self contained apartment, so no breakfast. We loved the apartment, especially the location right in the central square. The apartment was very stylish and very modern decor. Bathroom and kitchen was exceptional. Wished we could have stayed longer.

The room was beautifully remodeled in calm colors. Compact but complete kitchen was available behind cupboard doors. Fridge, cook top and kettle. It is on the main square, so the location is perfect for exploring by foot. Wood shutters and full drapes can be closed for sleeping. AC was great. Wish we had more time here than just one night.
