You could hear the neighbours (talking, TV, shower, flush). The room could do with some maintenance (e.g. unblock the drain).

Very friendly hosts, amazing breakfast, very peaceful garden with pool. Room has tea and coffee and reasonably priced wines. The room was spacious with plenty of cupboard space. The kitchen was equipped with everything you might need. Bikes are available. Tevira ans St Luzia are a short drive or bicycle ride away. Especially Tevira has loads of restaurants. Aldi and Lidl supermarkets are also a short drive/cycle/walk.

Amazing hospitality, incredible breakfast each morning, beautiful and peaceful property. We loved the location slightly outside of Tavira, and between the bikes the property provides and our rental car, we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go. Quick 10 minute bike ride or drive to the beach or into downtown Tavira. Everything about our stay was amazing, and we already can’t wait to return!

Bed a little too firm, but staff promptly addressed this. Living area could use a coffee table. Kitchen could use more hand towels.

Nice interior design, tasteful quality furnishings. Quiet Location, clean spacious rooms, great breakfast and gracious and helpful staff.

We loved staying at Abacatus Farmhouse. The pool was great. It was easy to find using google maps, a short drive into Tavira, and to Tavira Island. Our suite had everything we needed, very comfortable. Sani is an excellent host who provided a delicious breakfast and was very helpful with everything we needed.

Fabulous property well located with beautiful accommodation. The pool area has a wonderful relaxing feel about it and with so few guests was never busy. Sani was very attentive and looked after superbly, can’t recommend this place enough.

The location of the hotel is rather uncomfortable, it is quite far from Tavira, we were getting there without a car, but it is not something I will recommend to anyone, because of the distance and the road which is not so picturesque.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious and rich, definitely will miss! The hotel has very limited amount of rooms so it is very calm and peacefully inside. Staying the whole day around can be a rest itself because you have everything you need and a pool! Rooms are very stylish, cozy and have country vibes. The property offers bikes which great! The host was super friendly!

The breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, bread, croissant, coffee, the farmhouse’s own avocado, scrambled eggs, etc. It was served on the table by lovely stuff.

The hotel and staff far exceeded our expectations. The rooms are big and beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, and the pool is a dream. It is so peaceful and quiet, day and night. Thank you to the staff for being so attentive. It happened to be my birthday the day we arrived, and the staff surprised me with Portuguese wine and birthday cake! We flew to Faro from the UK, and then rode the train from Faro to Tavira. It was a short walk, around 20 minutes, from Tavira station to the farmhouse. The farmhouse has complimentary bikes, which we rode into town each night for dinner. We only stayed for three nights, but will be back for more!

We enjoyed very much the stay. The smells of the garden and plants was so breathtaking. Also the breakfast was wonderfully done. The swimming pool area was clean and towels were provided everyday on the deck chairs. Fernando is a graciously and helpful host. We would be happy to come back again in the future.

We felt so incredibly comfortable ... from the first second. Fernando is such a nice and friendly person. The farm is furnished with so much love and excellent design. The breakfast was so lovely prepared, delicious and plentiful. It´s a peaceful place that´s hard to part with. The ground and pool are wonderful. We will come back - for sure!

The breakfast was wonderful. Brought to our room every morning with fresh bread and fruit. Family owners were very friendly and helpful whenever we asked for anything. We were made to feel very much at home. We stayed in a spacious apartment with two large rooms and a modernly equipped kitchen. The pool was right outside our room, cleaned regularly and we often had it to ourselves. All very clean, in a quiet, secure location a short drive to some really beautiful beaches.

Wonderful location in the countryside, but with easy access to local towns of Tavira, Santa Lucia, Fuseta, Cabanas, Olhao. Beautiful pool and avocado farm, with spacious and comfortable rooms with everything you could need. Great service and communication and wonderful fresh breakfast served to your room. Highly recommended!
