The kitchen is a bit small for so many guests and there were no curtains in my room.

Hostel is up a hill with a very beautiful view over the city. You can either take the stairs or the elevator from the city to the hostel. Rooms were very clean. The beds very nice as well. Visit the church next to the hostel.

The hall light is super bright and whenever anyone stepped out of the room during the night it would come beaming into the room and wake you up. The hall light should be dimmed at night.

The hostel was in a great location although be warned there is no food available for sale after the venders have closed at 5. There is a nice kitchen though to prepare your own food. The bunk room were relatively small with 6 sets of bunks and a door to help keep noise out.

Access to get to the cable car station in the town was difficult as the underpasses were very confusing. The cable car shuts early making access to the Albergue difficult unless you get a taxi. Check closing times! (unless you want to walk uphill steeply for another 45 mins). Limited food options once at the top especially in the evening. But you can order Pizza's etc from the town.

Location was incredible. Amazing views and beautiful church. Great climb to the top of the church for even better views. Albergue was super modern and beautifully kept.

The tram up to the property stops running at 17:45 and doesn’t start until 9:00am the next day. This could be an issue if you’re doing the camino but the walk down wasn’t so bad! No issues with the property itself!

Incredible views!! The albergue itself was modern, comfy and had great facilities. There was access to duvets and extra pillows which was great after a long day on the camino. I appreciated having my own plug and light by my bed too!

The beautiful church, the breathtaking views, the presence of the ancient ruins were the biggest draw for me. Watching sunset from this location was memorable for the wide vistas. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the bathrooms convenient and very clean as well. I didn’t use but the common areas looked pleasant.

One of the best albergues I had on the Camino. They have plenty of showers divided for men and women which were very clean. They also had washer and dryer which were quite affordable compared to other places I washed clothes. The only minor inconvenience was getting there past 6pm because the elevator stops working. But you can get those steps in if you want! The sunset from up there is spectacular

Considering the large number of people in a small room, it would be a good idea to provide recuperation or other minor ventilation for air quality.

shop for food before you go as no facilities. not sure if restaurants at top are open. tram stops running at 1745 so you won't be able to have dinner in town without walking or ubering up.

best stay of my 15 day pilgrimage. new, clean, amazing views. lounge area, good kitchen with dishwasher. rooms of 8. places to hang your wet gear. extensive outdoor balcony that we were unable to utliize due to weather. I would have happily stayed for a couple of days. laundry facility. had almost everything you could ask for.

We spent a night is a twin room with shared bathroom. The room itself is huge. The only thing was that the blinders did not work, we could not shut them. Everything is clean, the kitchen has what it takes for a meal, I saw pans and a lot of other utensils (someone cooked pasta the night we stayed). The hostel also has washing and drying machines. But you'll have to wait your turn ;) The location of the hostel is great, on top of Mount Santa Luzia, right next to the cathedral. The check-in is very ok, if you follow the steps sent by the hosts, everything goes smoothly.

Top bed in the bunk bed has nothing to hold on when climbing up, not ideal.

Beautiful location, make sure you arrive in time to take the cable-car, otherwise you’ll have to go up lots of steps. Lots of showers and very clean.

If you don't want to hike up the hill after a long day the escalator closes at 17:45 and opens at 9:00 (maybe it changes by season)

Wonderful stay for the Camino! The rooms were clean and gorgeous. There was a lovely atmosphere and good vibes. I left my Camino credentials there and the staff were so helpful trying to get it back to me. We were able to wash and dry our clothes at night. Beautiful location but beware of the hike up to the hostel.
