One male receptionist staff was quite rude. We arrived at 10:00 even though we called informing them that we running late due to the taxi was late collecting us from the airport - the male receptionist refused to provide us food.

The location, the bedroom was nice and the shower was extremely good and powerful and very hot. I was also super impressed with the WiFi service absolutely fantastic. The chef was great on arrival he provided us with food as he felt bad that we missed dinner. The domestic , bar and kitchen staff were fantastic and very kind.

Hotel was lovely but we had booked pool view with booking.com and never got one. Hotel said booking.coms fault and they never answered our message so we looked at a fence!

I did have a shock on arrival as I was asked for 100 euros as a bond for possible damage we may cause to our room. I could either pay cash or on a credit card ! I did not have €100 in cash on me ! British banks are very, very, slow in crediting refunds. I used a Portuguese bank ATM to get the cash, the local Aldi,3 mins away has one. DO NOT USE a "tourist" ATM , usually bright red or yellow. The "rate" is poor.

The room/studio, all facilities "spot on. Cleanliness everywhere first class. Fair bar prices. Excellent heating in room. Easy to locate, Plenty of bars, restaurants in easy distance on foot, they do vary tremendously in quality and price. Breakfast very good, you even get very hot plates for hot items of food ! Comfy beds, our room quiet at night. Ample parking (in March) The staff are helpful and friendly within management constraints.

There’s adequate activities to do should the weather get bad . Enjoyed spa treatments when rain started pouring . Staff were hospitable

The sofa bed was a bit squeaky and so a bit noisy when you sat on it. The toilet was right up against the bath and so you felt a bit cramped. Very little to complain about really.

Very impressed with the size of the room and the facilities, We had a full kitchen and balcony. Bed and bedding very comfy. Staff were very helpful and pleasant, the breakfast was good with cooked and cold options. The hotel has a spa at a very reasonable price although we didn't get time to use it as we only stayed one night. There is a very large pool area with plenty of sunbeds. Lots of nice restaurants around the hotel.

Late check in (4pm), did have luggage room. Only news channels on TV in English, more channels would be good.

Location, cleanliness, staff so friendly, room size, room amenities, comfortable bed, didn’t use pool (February) but looked good size and clean. Left my mum some for her birthday which was so kind.

The cold pool and poor shower drainage. No fan in the bathroom, the spa was not a pleasant visit.

The staff in the reception is not accommodating and helpful. They never told us where to go for breakfast, the swimming pool, or the wifi connection unless we asked questions. When she saw us coming,she walked away and let us wait for a few minutes and did not even smile when she came back. She was abrupt and turned her eyes away after talking to us. If it's not for her (she's the afternoon shift staff), we will come back and recommend Albufeira Sol. Also the sofa bed wasn't comfortable esp the metal handles are on your way when you sit on the edge.

Breakfast is excellent, the staff in the breakfast area is very friendly and accommodating. Lots of choices from hot food to cold choices. Yummy sausage and well done cook porridge. Friendly staff in the ground floor reception too. The swimming pool is clean and warm,my daughter loves it. Wifi connection is great.

Check in was just perfunctory and not friendly or welcoming. Receptionist guy could benefit customer service training - no eye contact - never saw him smile once. Same as the surly rude woman with the red hair in their sister hotel St Eulalia hotel and Spa. All other reception staff were pleasant. My husband has walking difficulties and was given a room quite a distance from the lift despite the hotel being quite empty.

Location, good facilities and clean. Good value for money. Most staff friendly and work hard.

The only complaint I would have is bar staff were quite rude and unfriendly. Something I didn’t understand as the reception, dining and cleaning staff were all very nice and friendly.

There honestly wasn't much I didn't like.

"Food"... The food was absolutely amazing. So much choice and so tasty!!! It just never ran out. Dishes kept on getting filled. Honestly some of the best hotel food I have ever eaten and all decorated so beautifully!! "Room" - The room was comfortable. Needs a bit of upkeep though with regards to painting.. touch ups. "Pool" - Pool area was great. Lots of sunbeds! "Entertainment staff" - Wow. these guys / girls were amazing. Always a smile on their faces. Happy to stop and chat for a few minutes. They honestly are a credit to the hotel. "Bus Service" - There was a bus service into the Old Town every hour. At one point we tried to board the bus (2 of us) but there was only 1 seat. the driver said he would be back in 15 minutes. He picked us up and took just the two of us to the Old Town, even with it being off his bus schedule.

Breakfast - there were no veggies liike tomatoes or lettuce for breakfast. Only black coffee served from esspresso machine, even though they had the milk frother and a milk... Coctails not too tasty as they were from the machines - too sweet. The biggest minus for serving drinks in plastic/paper cups even in a bar. We had to ask for a glass every time.

Spotlessly clean, the cleaning team does a great job. Spaciious room with comfy bed. Great variety of food for lunch and dinner. Lots of salads, fish & meat. Grilled meat & fish. Freshly baked pizza, local bread. Good choice of fresh fruit. Animatiion team does good job. Greal location, 7 minutes walk to the beach, or you can take hotel bus to the beach and the old town.

Only a few small things really, food was a bit repetitive, there was allot of variations of pork for some reason..?! The Mexican night was great though, again all the catering staff work really hard and are mannerly. The only thing that picked at me a bit was the hotel really have to change policy on 2 drinks, or at least use a bit of common sense!!! A fella ordering two glasses of wine for himself and his wife and a water for his kid, was made to go to the back of the queue, so he did and then the bar man gave him a load of hassle. Not cool!!! Fair enough if he was ordering 5 alcoholic drinks, but a glass of water for his kid??? Really!!!!. Bar staff pretty ignorant in general to be honest. Not keen on the paper cups either, it's the only area that let it down this year... Lifts might need a service, heard a few complaining about them bouncing all over!!! Other than that, all good.

This is our fourth time staying here, the last time was 2019. The location is perfect. 5 minutes walk to the strip and a complimentary bus to the old town. The driver was an absolute gent. The entertainment staff were great, they literally never stopped and were brilliant with the kids. Also every question we had as well as checking in was explained perfectly at the check in desk, they couldn't be nicer. Theres a great little kids pool, and everything a family with young children would need. Pool bar and snack bar was really handy save ya going in and out the hotel. All in all a really good week.
