We came during early season, on a cold day, and the apartment was hard to heat up with the electric heaters. The humidity remained high, because it is a ground floor apartment in an old historic house. Probably nice during hot summer, though.

Spacious apartment, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms. Very centrally located. Good beds. Free parking nearby.

Bedrooms were a bit small and the bathroom showers needed better cleaning. Wish also that there had been a nepresso pod machine instead of a Delta machine as we love coffee and didn’t care for the Delta pods (we’re picky coffee drinkers though).

Nice 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on a quiet street with close by free parking. Access was easy and the host Nuno was very quick to respond with answers to our questions.

A great place to stay. We spent a long weekend here, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Free municipal parking was just a few minutes walk away, the place was clean and quiet. Contact with the host was good, with quick answers to the few questions we had.

This is a lovely home in a quiet neighbourhood that is well situated between the sights of Evora and the nearby free parking lot. The bottle of wine was a lovely welcome. We arrived early and were delighted that our host, Nuno, made it possible to enter the home right away. The cleaners were just finishing and had the keys for us. The home is spotless. We liked the decor, the patio and the succulent garden.

Plenty of space for 4 adults. All extras needed & we loved the separate utilities room. It was a little haven off the street

No AC but the house has thick walls so we managed w open doors/windows at night

Location, distribution, the welcoming with the wine and herbs for tea, communication was excellent. Looking forward to go back. It has a very nice and private patio

Because of the architecture of the building one of the bathrooms has a sloped ceiling that we had to be ‘very aware’ of.

The two bedrooms (2 couples travelling together) were nicely separated. Well equipped kitchen (though no food staples). Nice common (living room/kitchen) area. It’s an old (ancient?) building on a small, quiet street….though the sounds of others living are definitely evident (doors closing, etc). The patio looks lovely in the photos but we didn’t find it very comfortable/useful….flies (obviously not the property’s fault) and the closeness of neighbours (didn’t want to disturb them). Parking (a very large lot, so super easy to get a spot) is a bit of a walk away (outside the city walls). Though you could drop bags within 100m of the apartment and return to the parking lot…..just need to be somewhat mobile :-). Remote check in worked very well. And keypad access too.

We liked everything about our stay. The location was perfect, and the hosts were very responsive to our needs. The house is beautiful and unique. We loved its decor and the cork walls, authentic for the Alentejo region. It has all the necessary amenities, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, and a nice outdoor area with access from one of the bedrooms. The hosts recommended using the public parking just outside the city walls, less than 5 min walk away from the house - it was very convenient. We had a wonderful stay!

We had problems with the locks on the gate and front door. Key actually got jammed in the door and had to contact agent to remedy.

Three of us were there for 2 nights but only 3 coffee pods were left for us. Having six pods would have been nice because each of us could have had a cup of coffee before venturing out. Some of us want our morning coffee fix! Also, it rained both nights and the noise of the rain on some type of metal outside was a bit loud.

The location, with very convenient free parking nearby, was wonderful. The apartment was immaculate, the towels were large and fresh and the shower was nice and warm. The set up, with both bedrooms having separate bathrooms, along with a comfortable sitting area and kitchenette is perfect for travel with family or friend. A complimentary bottle of wine was a lovely touch. The host suggested several nearby restaurants for dinner as it was late and we were tired upon arrival. We walked to Catalina's which was only a 4-5 minute walk. Good steak, good chicken and EXCELLENT grilled octopus.

Minor thing - kitchen could do with a spatula and frying pan (used a large wok to cook which was fine).

The apartment was in a lovely laneway very close to the main gate. There is a large free public parking lot just outside the gate, so a short 5 minute walk to the property. The main centre is a nice short 10 min walk away where there are plenty of restaurants and shops. All sights in the old town are within walking distance. The apartment is open plan and renovated in a modern style on the inside. It was clean and very comfortable.

The water heater tank in the laundry room fell off the stand. But owner was quick to acknowledge

Very spacious and clean. 2 bathrooms. It's at the edge of the city wall so we didn't have to drive inside the city which can be a challenge. Kids loved the place.

the En-suite toilet really smelled for some reason and whoever was upstairs were really noisy from early morning .
