I can't complain. If I had to say some things, I might note that people who have problems with stairs might want to avoid upper floors. It wasn't an issue for us. The noise isolation isn't the best, but that also depends on your luck with neighbouring visitors.

The guesthouse is in a great location. The room was quite spacious and comfortable and had coffee for us. It was also quite clean. There's a garden outside if that's what you're looking for. In Porto, where space is precious, that was quite enjoyable. Geraldo has contacted us on arrival, and we checked in a bit earlier. Then he helped us chart a route for our visit and also gave us tips for the dinner. So from the very first moment to the last, it was a great stay, and I would definitely stay there again.

The Welcome by Geraldo was very nice and easy, although we arrived earlier than expected. The room is nicely furnished, clean and spacious. The provided breakfast was more than sufficient and nicely done.

It would have been nice to be able to unpack my suitcase. There was no place to put clothes except 4 hangers on a rack. But this was a small thing. There was room to put the suitcase open on the floor.

Owner even picked us up from the train station with his car! Great room with door leading to garden terras. Plenty of room with table, microwave, etc. Location was above the city center, easy to walk there. There was a simple breakfast offered for 8 euro per day. We had good contact with owner via WhatsApp. Even though he didn't speak English very well we managed very well.

Noise from the music school across the street. The music bit was lovely but sometimes people would be outside at night talking very loudly and it carries into the room I stayed in, which faces the street.

Beautiful furnishings, tons of natural light, very clean and comfortable. Set away from the tourist traps, it is in a more residential neighborhood but is still walkable to restaurants and attractions.

The location was up a big hill. To get to the 2 single beds you had to go up a sort of ladder. There was no sitting room apart from a bedroom. The decor was lots of wood and brown tiles...heavy...

Geraldo was very helpful despite speaking little English. He collected us from the station when we arrived in the dark. There was a garden.

Not as much of a property but Its beakfast related. I was given a voucher for my breakfast which i could use in a cafe nearby. The voucher states I could come from 8am. I was there at 8:05 but the cafe was closed.

It was a very good stay. In fact I stayed in that guesthouse twice. First time room was quite nice as well but on my second time the room was fabulous. It was a different room on a different floor. Hosts were super friendly and they let me leave my bag for 10 days in their guest house while I went travelling to the other parts of Portugal and Spain.

I appreciated Gabriela being so flexible with my check in / check out time (as I had arrived in quite early & requested a later check out). Thank you! Check in and communication was smooth, easy & covid safe. I stayed in the duplex suite - which was spacious, cosy & comfortable. There is also a lovely peaceful terrace.

This is tricky because the property has just changed owners. There is no hotel sign outside, so until Madalena came, there was no way to get in. We were on the ground floor, which was a blessing because the stairs are rather steep. The room was fine. Street noise, but oh well. However, there is a mold problem, at least in in our room. We could smell it as soon as we opened the door. There is a place in the ceiling that looks like the origin, possibly originating from the upper floor bathroom. The shower cubicle is extremely small. We had breakfast (catered, which may be due to property owner change?) and it came in a carrier bag. Lots of food, but I’m not sure it was worth 12 euros.

The beds are very nice and firm. There is a hot water pot and coffee maker. Madalena, who seems to be running everything, is brilliant. So very helpful and kind!

The room didn't match the photos published on the site. The room was extremely humid and had no windows. It was so humid that all our clothes were wet after the first night.The floor near the wardrobe was broken, we were scared to walk.Overall, the value for money was really poor, not worth it
