No lift which makes it difficult with luggage. Room stuffy due to no aircon, couldn't leave window open due to street noise.

The bed was a a little uncomfortable in that it had a big dip in the middle but I'm really jusy picking holes! It was a perfect place to explore funchal without being stuck in the middle of the tourist area!

The location of this apartment is brilliant. It is also so, so quiet in the evenings. To have a balcony looking out over the mountains was absolutely glorious as well. The apartment had everything you needed and lots of space to unpack and feel at home. Particularly liked the couple of washing tabs for the washing machine - was a really nice touch! Jose was a perfect host, we were able to drop our bags early, and he took them to our room for us when we checked in! The restaurant attached to the hotel is Jose's and is absolutely delicious and incredibly reasonable. We shared a meal, some beers and some delicious vino Verde!

Simply the best place to be! Very central location. Close to restaurants, cafes, shops, promenade. Highly recommended! Very welcoming and kind host and staff. The room has everything you need for your comfortable and trouble-free vacation: microwave, refrigerator, washing machine (with detergents!), iron, rug, plates, forks, spoons, glasses, clean towels. In the bathroom there is even a first aid kit with the most necessary things. The room is spacious and bright. We are very pleased with our stay. We will certainly return. Special greetings.

Nothing to dislike

Apartment was 5 minutes away from city centre. Totally ideal for me. It was beside an excellent restaurant also calld Trigal. Major shopping centre 2 minutes away. Brilliant location.

Nothing everything amazing

The entire stay was amazing, we stayed for 5 days in February. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful and make you feel at home. The restaurant underneath the apartments was lovely. The apartment itself was amazing, had everything we needed, lovely balcony and very clean. Would 100% recommend staying here. The location is also 10/10

Flat was snug but it suited me. Mattress a little hard.

Excellent location - close to 2 beautiful parks, lots of cafes and good eating out choices, good shopping centre with great food court within 1 minute walk...and I enjoyed the balcony. Also good range of English TV channels and I watched some movies. Laundry pods provided and near to lively streets.

The road could be noisy in the morning and evening

Convenient central location. Great shower in the bathroom. Kitchen facilities in a compact area were all we needed. Our host, Jose, was very welcoming, stayed in touch throughout our stay, and helped us when my husband was unwell. Delicious food in Jose's restaurant just a few metres from the apartment.

Maybe just the fact that it is not a new, modern apartment, at the same time it was very clean and one has everything he/she needs during the stay with a very good value for the money.

The location was perfect, in the center. The apartment is big enough and with a well equipped kitchen. The owner is very kind and helpful which just adds to the whole thing.
