We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We really loved the garden & patio where we could have breakfast and dinner. The peaceful surroundings are really a plus.

Romania- the apartment we got was on the ground floor and since there is so much humidity on the island you could sense a damp smell; the owners have installed an air purifier and air conditioning machine, but it's something to be aware of
- ideal location in Faja Grande - proximity to the grocery store / local bar where you can get coffee and sandwiches in the morning - friendly staff - very clean; sheets smell amazing - parking nearby

United StatesThe only frying pan in the room was old and needs replacing. The teflon is missing and scratched off. There was no spices to cook with other than salt.
There was no breakfast and the closest grocery store had none of the necessities so we had to take a cab back to the other side of the Island to get eggs, bread and milk essentials. The location was good it was close to the restaurants and the swimming hole. Nice walking area and very close to the ocean. Marcia was very welcoming and went over everything in the apartment and how to use it. She also gave helpful suggestions for entertainment.

SpainThe bed was a little short for me (1.9 m mattress) and the pillow too small, flat and hard. If you're than 180cm tall you might feel less comfortable sleeping, but not the end of the world. The climate on the island is very humid and it rains often, even on sunny days there's chances of fog or drizzle. Towels and washed clothes never really died during the stay. I would recommend a drier in the facilities (maybe a common one), or at least replace the guests towels after 2/3 days of use.
Clean, tidy comfortable little apartment in a very scenic location. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen, a washing machine and a little living/dining room apart from the bedroom, which makes it more cosy and enjoyable when the weather is bad or at the end of a long hiking day. The staff is friendly and helpful. And considering the accommodation prices on the island, it's a fair rate for what it can offer.

I have fallen a bit in love with the village and the people there, all very friendly. My highlight of Flores was the waterfall Cascata do Poço do Bacalhau, which was easily accessible on foot.

CanadaNo parking at the property itself, but there was a large parking lot with “huge” stalls. The website didn’t say anything about having to pay with a bank transfer (can’t pay with credit card). And that you don’t actually have a reservation until the bank transfer goes through.
It was low season so we got a cabin to ourselves for the same price as a single room. The full kitchen was great and the town was beautiful.

United StatesWe discovered throughout the Azores that beds are very firm and take some getting used to. This is true at Alojamentos Flores Island, too.
Faja Grande is a small village on a relatively quiet island in the Azores. The cottage is charming and spacious with good natural light and provides a fully equipped kitchen. A mini mercado, a larger mercado and a great restaurant on the point/beach were all within easy walking distance. Marcia, the manager, is efficient, funny and an incredibly hard worker! We would gladly stay here again.
