Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

GreeceThe only thing we didn't like was the pillows as they were really soft but this has to do with our liking and preferences.
We really liked our stay in this hotel. The staff was really nice , kind and helpful at all times. They made a lot of effort to make you feel comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed, especially Filip , the night shift guy that checked us in. The room was comfortable and very clean. The location is amazing, the metro station is just outside the hotel as well as the bus stations. It also felt safe at all times . The breakfast is nice also. We would recommend this hotel.

I wanted to do some work on my laptop in the room, but although there was a small desk, there was no chair, just a very nice stool, that was comfortable enough, but not if you want to sit in it for a long time (as it has no back). However, this is Lisbon and it is best that one does not spend a lot of time in the hotel room, anyways :-D
The location was perfect, right next to the metro station and with easy access to everything. The breakfast was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. Very good water pressure and very nice (and big-bigger than in most hotels) towels. The staff was very helpful

CanadaThey should have power stations in the room to charge phones etc. Very few recepticals (only one in the room, one in the bathroom). Noise between the bathroom and the bathroom of the room next to use travelled very easily - it was as if you were in the same room.
Very good location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean hotel. Room was decent size, as well as a good sized bathroom.

The hotel is located just on the edge of the main city centre, with an easy 15-20 min stroll to the centre. Very easy to arrive from the hotel via the excellent underground system. Room was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good value for money.

BelgiumBreakfast area was small for the number of guests, it was feeling a bit crowded and I had to wait to find a table in some days. In the bathroom in our room, the shower was inside the bathtub, I didn't like to get in and out of thr bathtub to shower. For older people or people limited mobility the shower can be a problem. The lifts are really small and in higber floor you need to wait a while for it, specially at breakfast time.
Location is very good, it is not in the historical area but there is a metro station really at the door, so it was very easy to go anywhere in Lisbon. There are goid restaurants nearby. The hotel is clean and the staff very kind and helpful. Breakfast was very good with many options and delicious pastéis de nata. Bedroom had a good size and was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was also very clean. I have stayed at America Diamonds twice and recommend it.

MaltaSometimes we could hear the noise made in other rooms although this was not the norm of the stay.
Room was Ok for us with all important amenities. Breakfast was really good although sometimes the room got too crowded and one had to wait to get a cup for coffee. Reception was also fabulous with all the staff helping out customers. The location of the Hotel with a Metro station next to it helped to make our travelling in Lisbon quite easy and enjoyable. We got two tours from the hotel which made our visit to Lisbon one to be remembered.
