- the very warm welcome by Ana - the very nice and comfortable appartment, where we immediatly felt like home - the photos match 100% - Ana´s house is definitly a place to stay a 2nd, 3rd .. time or recommend to friends - Setubal is close enough to visit the beaches at Troia (by ferry) and the mountains / cliffs/beaches at Arrabia natural park - Also Lisbon is easy to reach by suburban train service

The place is amazing. The apartment is great and clean, perfectly located in the center of Setubal. It's also very nicely decorated. Ana, who is the host, is super friendly and made us feel at home. She prepared some delicious, handmade, local treats, and was always at our disposal. She helped us with some tips and recommendations regarding points of interest, and restaurants in Setubal and its surroundings. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PROPERTY! Thank you Ana!

I couldn’t think of anything I didn’t like

The apartment was very cosy, nicely furnished and decorated. bedsheets crisply clean. Perfectly located in the old centre of Setubal. The owner Ana is a perfect host, doing her best to make your stay as comfortable as possible, advising where to get the best meal in town, where to go. she brings an umbrella when it’s raining, gives a ride to the train station. We had a feeling of being at home while having great holidays.

Nothing could be improved - One of the best private properties I've stayed at in a very long time, and I traveled almost nonstop for over 10 years in 30+ countries.

12/10!! I don't know what the other reviewers are smoking, but Ana's house is a traveler's dream and as a host, she is beyond the best. I can't think of anyone else who puts more effort into making you feel welcome and a part of the city. She knows everything there is to know, and radiates happiness. Such a lovely host! The location is perfect - quiet street so you can sleep at night, but 2m walking to everything in the city. The local market is just down the street, along with a supermarket, lots of restaurants and things to do. The decoration is beautiful, she has provided EVERYTHING you could ever need to live there (very obviously she has traveled, because few hosts spend the money on this), and the bed is like sleeping in a cloud. Lastly, very rare in older buildings, lots of natural light throughout! I will 1000% be staying here on my next visit to the Lisboa area. Obrigado Ana!

Ana’s house is in the Centre. The apartment is charming, stylish, comfortable and well appointed. Ana is a perfect host. Attentive, with good local advice and always available to her guests. Perfect.

I was so comfortable I didn't want to leave!

This restored historic property is perfectly equipped, spotlessly clean, and well situated in the old town center steps away from cute cafes and the BEST nata. What makes the property stand out are all the personal touches: handwritten welcome notes, homemade pastries, and a welcome basket of local bread and local confiture. When the windows are open you can hear the comforting sounds of community (friends chatting, kids playing, and the occasional fado music). The bedroom is quiet and very comfortable. The stairwell is adorned with black and white photos taken by the host and the apartment has many items that were hand-made, restored, and/or choosen from local sources. Ana, is both owner and host and it's clear she has her heart in this business; always available with advice, suggestions, and help if needed. After being on the road for a few months, Ana's house felt like coming home.

You would be lucky to stay at Ana's House. Everything is so welcoming and every piece in the apartment is meaningful. There is so much information both in the house book and from Ana. It exceeded our best expectations!

Ana's House is a beautifully arranged apartment middle in the historic center of Setubal. Ana is a perfect host, caring for her guests, spoiling them with self-baked cakes and even bringing umbrellas on a rainy day. There is a fantastic small restaurant 20 meters from the doorstep.

We loved just everything. The apartment is beautiful, clean and very well equipped. It is also very well located and it is not hard to find a parking spot on the street. Ana was amazing, helpful and her recommendations were just great. We loved the surprises - thank you, Ana! :-)

As very minor remark ( not a problem for us) the area and people around is a bit 'pictoresque' like the rest of City center, and you should not expect a fancy area.

The stay at ana's apartment was very very good. The place is super clean and cosy and you have everything you need for s short stay at the beach. Ana's also provides you with beach towels and beach umbrella. Ana's is also a very nice person who provides you a lot of good tips for eating and visiting around. There are also parkings ( 3€ day) very close. For sure if we will be back to setubal we will stay there again.

The location and the apartment were absolutely beautiful. Ana thought of every detail and ensured we were comfortable and offered lots of recommendations for sites to see in Setubal and surrounding areas. The appliances were top notch and once you figure out the washer/dryer combination it works well. :) There was no air conditioning, but we were comfortable by opening the windows and using the fan. Plenty of cross breeze. Highly recommend this beautiful home.
