We had great time staying at Apartments Madeira. The host was very kind. The apartment is 10minutes ride from Funchal- a perfect location if you have a car. There was also free parking lot on the street, just a few meters from apartment. The apartment was very clean :)

It was a bit chilly (because it's winter), but there were extra blankets available.

Great location (close to Funchal, free parking, good exit roads). You just have to remember that the east of the island is colder and wetter. Great view of the ocean. Very helpful staff (lots of good advice). Overall, a great choice for people who want to spend time actively in Madeira.

We got the most beautiful warm and friendly welcome from Sarah when we are arrived :) The apartment was perfect and had everything we needed to cook if we wanted to. All areas were spotless. My daughter loved the shared pool which we actually had to ourselves probably due to the time of year. Sarah was so kind and allowed us to have an extra late check out time to suit our flight which was very much appreciated 😀 Thank you Sarah & all at Apartments Madeira

The couch in the living rooms need to be replaced, you can basically dump in it. The apartment doesn't have air-conditioning but it wasn't an issue for us - the temperatures were not extreme and we didn't need it. P.S. Don't leave the windows open during the evening - you can get some nasty insect visitors, especially if the weather outside is rough.

The apartment is really big and well equipped. The internet works perfectly well, the bed is big and comfortable. A practically private swimming pool open 24/7 is an unexpected bonus (I think it wasn't mentioned on booking) . The neighbourhood is calm but there are plenty of restaurants nearby and if it is not enough you can get to Funchal in 15 minutes (by car). The lady who is responsible for the maintenance of the apartment is just golden, she helped us with anything we asked about and she was really nice. P.S. if you like snorkelling/diving there is a sea nature reserve just 15 minutes on foot from the apartment (if you take a cable car down, which is also an attraction and costs 3 or 4 euro both way).

Double single bed and not one double bed (you can see it from the pictures, so was expected), not so comfortable. The shower might be quite small for someone.

The location is great, quiet spot and only 10 minute drive to Funchal. The hosts very kind and responsive. Spacious, comfortable, clean. Well equipped kitchen. They also give separate towels for pool. Wifi was strong. We had a rented car and there were a lot of parking places outside, free and very easy (something to consider when in Madeira). Also bus stop directly in front of the house. Ocean view from our bedroom was amazing.

Would have been nice to ve abke to park inside as on the ad I recall there was a mention of a parking. Anyway, street parking was very easy. There was a free parking just across the street and some other 50m down the road.

The location was great, the hosts super cool. They made sure we had everything we needed, gave us some good visiting tips. They even made a gift for our 12 yo bd. We strongly recommend and we visit again.

Very nice staff, amazing view and close to the adventure agencies offering diving, canyoning and mountain biking! They even remembered my birthday and organized a birthday cake for me :)

very clean,spacious, comfortable. well equipped kitchen. great beds with a great view of the bay and the sunrise upon waking. wonderful pool with breathtaking views and super close to shops and bus stop both directions right outside. the tv was a welcome addition with the kids and movie nights were fun after a day travelling the island. staff and family so kind and helpful. quiet spot and yet only 10 minute drive to Funchal. a car is a good option.

Cosy accommodation with clean swimming pool located between airport and Funchal. Spectacular view from swimming pool. Very nice hosts. Bus stop directly in front of the house. A lot of parking places outside. Shops, bakery, car rental are located near to this place. We spent here very nice time with my family and friends.

The apartment looks okey, but if you look to details it needs some renovation (e.g. walls, wetness when you open kitchen cupboards, door in the bathroom). Still good price for the quality.

Absolutely great place - with fantastic host, location, space... You can find there everything what you need to spend great, relax time. Not in the city center what is super but close, walking distance, to cafes, restaurants, shops. Ocean view is amazing.

There was a lot of stairs to get to the apartment, not suitable for others who may have small children or accessibility limitations. The area by the pool seemed much windier than other areas of the island, but it was March.

The apartment was very spacious, kitchen was loaded with essentials, and the pool was nice. The view looking out from the property was amazing. The host that met us to give us the key was friendly and informative on nearby restaurants, bars, and tours.

I didn't enjoy the location. Mostly hotels, but nowhere to go for a drink in the evenings. Few places around, but not really nice. The acoustic was disturbing - As our apartment was by the main door, we could hear everybody entering, suitcases scrolling, a lot of noise during the night- water splashing, steps, people talking...actually i had to use my ear plugs.

It was the cheapest option and the accommodation completely fulfilled expectations. It was very clean, full equipped, very large apartment. It was very close to the highway, up the hill, so the access was easy. Always parking lot available close to the apartment. Just don't take exit 16, it would take you through very steep road. Take exit 15, that's ok. Also the reason i took this place was night arrival possibility.

uncomfortable bed, very hard mattress, sofa bed should be changed, because the children slept practically on the floor. the environment is not very peaceful, the neighbors have dogs that bark. and whether the repair of the neighboring apartment could not wait until the end of the season. it was not possible to sit on the terrace due to the noise caused by the renovation
