We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe balcony was dirty with nails on the floor, the floor was dirty as well the glass. The flor inside was broken. The bed sheets was dirty. The lamp was dirty maybe with chocolate we don’t know. The fridge wasn’t working for the first 2 days. The internet wasn’t working at all.
The view was stunning and was near by the beach. The breakfast was good.

PortugalPool bar very expensive and with basic offer. TV in the studios with very limited channel choice and from older models. Lack of preventive maintenance in the rooms (curtains torn, safebox busted, chiped furniture).
Great location, good for a short escape and not very far from Lisbon, so it's not a long car ride. The swiming pools are very good and there are a lot of great beaches near by with awesome scenery and landscape. The studios are roomy and with a postcard view in the balcony.

Troia is an exceptional place and the hotel is good and well placed. It has a good breakfast and restaurant for dinner. The rooms are fine and the staff is nice.

PortugalThe staff was mostly helpful, but it felt the guests-staff ratio was a bit tight (maybe some of the staff was a bit inexperienced also), especially on breakfast, where food and utensils sometimes disappeared faster than they were replaced.
The hotel location is great. The room was very good, very clean and comfortable with a gorgeous view. The pool and animation was a plus for the kids. Parents liked more how close (walking distance) it was from really good beach (Bico das Lulas)

South AfricaDinner buffet was terrible. Breakfast buffet was average to good. Pool bar service was VERY slow. The elevators were unreliable and badly maintained (e.g. only the "up" buttons worked on our floor, and only one elevator was working at one point), so there were often queues of people waiting to use the elevators.
Room was very nice and spacious. Bathroom was modern and well equipped.

United KingdomThere were a few things missing when we arrived and in one case we had to request it 3x in the reception desk: chairs for terrace, stairs for upper bunk bed. The shower area was not ideal : difficult access to shower taps and the design meant water splashed all over the bathroom floor and one of my kids slipped and fell once. I also did not appreciate a couple of notes said us by some members of staff, one in particular implying that we were trying to get breakfast without it being allowed, when actually it was included in the booking, it is not my fault that the lists they had were not up to date.
We really enjoyed the entertainers,they were doing a really good job with the families and the kids, the outdoor and indoor swimming pools were nice, easy access to the beach and the lady that was doing our accomodation cleaning, on our first few days, she was really friendly and nice.

United KingdomAfter two years of Covid all the facilities Need some TLC and a proper maintenance. We tried to book the SPA service while we stayed there by calling the available number but they were not very receptive and were only available to book a massage on a very specific day of the week… if this service is not available everyday it shouldn’t be advertised… Another thing that is outrageous is the fact that many guests leave their towels in the pool chairs while they are away for hours, blocking others from using them… the rules of the pool are clear and any towel unattended for more than 30m should be removed by the staff. We never saw any staff doing that for the whole stay.

Canadait’s tired, maintenance of grounds and the hotel itself leaves a lot to be disired . Burned out Light bulbs in the hallways need replacement, hand disinfectant dispenses empty for days, furniture and footings in the rooms and need to be replaced as they old and damaged. Bar in the lobby needs to have proper bartender and actual beverages to dispense to the clients. Also this is the first hotel we have stayed at that has no coffee ou tea available in the room.

PortugalWe got a room with two beds instead a double bed - and the thing was that we couldn’t move the beds. On Saturday evening hotel restaurant was closed for some group event and they told us to go to the Italian restaurant instead. The Italian restaurant was full and even with the reservation it was a long line to get food. Beside it for the take away from the Italian restaurant only pizzas were available… well, we were there with a 2 years old infant and by 9pm we left the restaurant line and went back to the room. Too late for him to be waiting.
The breakfast was great. The location was great. The staff was excellent. Great pool. We really enjoyed our time there, especially being the first time traveling with a 2 years old child.
