Everything was good. The check-in was so adorable with a welcome drink and a very nice host. We had a little surprise in the room with a bottle of some bubbles. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The view was amazing from the bed. We have spend a good moment in the pool indoor and sauna, it was relaxing. The breakfast was very nice. So thank you for the experience at Porto Moniz ! See you :)

There is no A/C in this property if that bothers you. We were happy to keep the patio doors open in the night and listen to the ocean.

Stopped here for 6 nights and we had a pretty good stay. Decent breakfast in the morning, exceptionally clean, decent amenities with natural pools across the road, rooftop outdoor pool and heated indoor pool. We had an incident occur and the staff rectified it quickly and professionally which we are grateful for. Lucia in the breakfast area was pleasant every morning and works incredibly hard to make your stay pleasant. We would recommend this stay and hope to return in the future.

If you stay with kids you’re at risk to spend too much time in pools:)

Amazing hotel with friendly staff and 5* service. What we liked most: 1. Location and nice view 2. Pools (very warm indoor pool was perfect for kids, they could spend there hours. And infinity pool with stunning view) 3. Breakfast with fresh juices and sparkling wine 4. Robes, slippers, extra towels 5. Welcome card with wine and small gifts for kids. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

I think to elevate the room experience and comfort level, you should have better bed sheets and pillows maybe. My friend and I both thought the sheets were a little scratchy and it affected a good nights sleep.

I loved everything about the property, the staff were so lovely and helpful. The restaurant was great and breakfast was lovely.

I don’t think I have ever had such an immaculate room in all our numerous hotel stays. Superb is all I can say Extremely comfortable super towels and hostess tray. There is even a fly screen on the balcony door Highly recommended

Great location. Nice roof top pool. Great free sauna's. Nice restaurant and lovely breakfast. Free complementary sparkling wine as a suprise! This was our best stay in Madeira. Great staff 10/10 would recommend and 10/10 would go again when staying in Portomoniz.

Great view and location with amazing facilities and welcoming staff. The breakfast was one of the best from all hotels I have been to, it has a great variety. Great complementary chocolate and drink. Highly recommend!

Nothing - it was truly stunning

Stunning hotel with beautiful rooms, spectacular surroundings and friendly staff. Ideally located for exploring the north of the island. Sea pools a stones throw away. Breakfast was fantastic. the pools were great both indoor and out although as it was winter season the outdoor terrace was a little breezy up there.

The weather I suppose! Hotel was great.

Cute comfy rooms, great facilities: the restaurant is good, the spa is great, with a hot tub, heated pool in free access and sauna, steam baths upon booking at no extra cost. The rooftop seemed great, unfortunately it rained for my whole stay. Great location near Porto Moniz pools and good view from the room. Plenty of free parking around.

Somehow there was some weird smell coming in the reception area (I guess a cloaked sink or something); dinner at the hotel restaurant could have been presented a little nicer, but there are nice restaurants within 10-15min range by car

Location is 10/10 - right next to the natural pools. All natural pools in porto moniz are open to the public. Has also a Spa, and has a pool on the rooftop. Super clean, insane view from the balcony
