Really wonderfull, specious, VERY CLEAN apartment with kitchen full eqipment. Everyday we found place to park a car max 1 min from apartment. Nice host, very good and quick contact. To be honest we wish all apartments and hosts to be so good like As Andorinhas.

This appartment looks as in fotos or even better. Everything was very clean. Kitchen is really good equipped - there is everything you need for cooking and in good quality. We was traveling with child and host provided us with the child chair and dishes. Also was very attentive to us. Very good communication and very friendly, polite person. There is a big shopping centre with supermarket very near, just several minutes walking. We would definitely come back. Everything was great.

Of course we all want a little more and to be really brutal the location wasn't the best and any mobility issues would be difficult... And a very minor issue us brits do like our Tea Towels...

I have travelled to Portugal and especially the Portimao area many times. This is undoubtedly the best find for a comfortable stay I have evet made. Meeting Ariana and her bloke George (David really) is something that will long live in my thoughts. They collected me from the train station and despite the rain my stay at Ariana's place was off to a flyer... The apartment was spotless and very well equipped and 'they' had left me lots of treats, snacks, water, and even a small bottle of red wine. They also gave me a very close by 'chicken' place to eat at on my first night, brilliant choice, full of locals... I found a local bar/cafe close by too ( O' Patrick) opposite a dance studio of some kind and on the road that led to the bus station also close by and easily strollable... It became my local dropping in place, loved it! The locals of course may have thought different, but I felt very comfortable there... The walk into Portimao itself ie the square by the Fountain close to the river, full of ice cream shops and Kiosks and even the (famous) casa Inglesa personally I prefer the green Kiosk :-) Life watching is a treasure from the square... My favourite restaurant is also close by 'Casa da tocha' not easy to locate but well worth it!!! plus you get in and out of some of the little streets... I will never tire of Portimao, although a clearly working town not overly blessed with wealth it is beautiful to my eye... Visit Ferraguda over the river opposite, either water taxi, bus or even for the less faint hearted walk over the BLUE bridge it takes about 45 mins and you pass STAPLES corner with nesting storks which are everywhere :-) also Club Naval (where you will be amazed by the value for such a stunning setting) and very near the 'sardine museum' and more nesting Storks on the gib of the crane in between... I really could go on and on... Ta Ariana and David X

I didn't have any complaints at all.

The apartment was spotlessly clean. The living room was really comfortable with a sofa and a large TV. The kitchen had everything that you would need to cook. There is a washing machine on the terrace. iron, ironing board etc. The shower and toilet are new and clean. Ariana and her family take care of the flat really well. There are lovely touches, with flowers and pictures on the walls etc. They are very professional with exits and fire extinguishers well lit. There is a big shopping centre 10 minutes walk away.
