The hosts were so welcoming and helpful! The location was perfect and a very short walk to many great restaurants and the city. I had zero complaints and thought it was very comfortable and well kept

The house is a bit noisy ( old wooden floors).

Very friendly and helpful staff, who gave good advice for trips and buses. Clean, bright rooms. Nice breakfast. Wanted to book again for when we returned to Ponta Delgado, but unfortunaly it was booked.

Very close to the airport and you notice...but if you don't mind it as we didn't super place.

What a great host. The moment we stepped in we felt welcome. We needed a place for one night. Early morning there was a bag for us as a family which we take with us as breakfast. Great suggestions where to eat as well.

The Owner was really friendly. We even got a breakfast for take away since we had to leave before the actual breakfast time. He also organised a Taxi for the next morning and recommended us his favourite food spots.

Leo and Ni are great. They are wonderful hosts and treated us like their family. The fruit salad was cut up daily and the cooked eggs done freshly too. One of the top bed and breakfast in PDL.

We had a short visit. Host greeted us at midnight, we have late flight. Breakfast was adorable with scrambled eggs made just for us. A very good place to start exploring the Azores.

The planes flying overhead are loud during the day. But there aren’t many and you should be out enjoying the day anyways.

Breakfast with other travellers was fun. You had a chance to meet new people and share experiences and plans for the day.

Everything was great, very welcoming staff, room has everything you need. Extremely comfortable beds! We had to leave super early to catch a morning flight but there was a coffee and a cute breakfast treat waiting for us early morning:) Thank you for great hospitality 🥰

Well located B&B just minutes from city center. Excellent hosts with great recommendations around town/the island and breakfast every morning! They even went above and beyond providing breakfast to go for an early morning flight. Highly recommend a stay at A Típica!

The hosts / staff are very friendly and warm. You can tell they are experts about the island and give extensive recommendations on where to go. We liked they had prepared a little slip of useful apps for exploring Sao Miguel to enable you to make the best out of your time. The room we stayed in is so lovely and bright. Every detail is made to make you feel at home. Housekeeping came everyday. The room we stayed at is spacious and has a nice balcony to let air in. We were very comfortable during our stay. The bed is on the softer side, so it took us some getting used to but we slept like babies. I liked the tea and kettle in the room so I can have a hot drink whenever I needed while enjoying the balcony and sea view. Breakfast was really delicious, the hosts prepares the available breakfast to your preference. I especially loved the pineapple jam. The location is the best - super walkable (less than 5 mins) to the square / Downtown area. For the price and this amazing location, this place is highly recommended. If you driving there is plenty of street parking. We had no issues finding free parking.

This is really a lovely place with soul. It Is well designed with a lot of space and little yard. All is well kept and clean. The breakfast was also delicious Prepared by the host every morning. The hosts were helpful and gave some tips for our travels in sao Miguel. I recommend it for a stay in ponta delgada or West of sao Miguel.

Very friendly hostess. I moved out at four in the morning, and she left me a packed sandwich and dessert with a sweet note. She left hot coffee. Nice and clean room, thought out to the smallest detail. There was a kettle, tea and water in the room.
