Very stylish rooms, modern and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Delicious breakfast! Perfect place to explore the National Park areas with Sintra and other beautiful places. We have enjoyed our stay and would definitely return one day.

Should have stayed longer. Let's just say that while it is a very romantic space the toilet is not sharing that vibe so it would pay to be comfortable with your friend or partner..... Yogurt at breakfast was delicious but tiny. I'm really nitpicking though as it is all great.

Wow! From the moment the big door opens you are met with a sense of peace and calm. A tranquil oasis with ‘vibes’ but no pretension. A beautiful, sparse room with a big cosy bed adorned with lovely fittings. Balcony with a view, a plunge pool for the brave (it wasn’t that cold) a nice and keenly priced wine and beer list to enjoy in the wonderful common area plus it is remarkably fairly priced and the breakfast is great too.

Lack of choice in restaurants nearby.

Quiet rural location yet only 5 minute walk to centre. Well run establishment, the owners have put a lot of work into making the property comfortable and homely. Lovely breakfast in pleasant surroundings.

So beautiful and stylish hotel. The bed is huge and very comfortable. Shower cosmetics smell amazing. View from the window without words. Breakfast was tasty: cheeses, hams, eggs, bread, fruit, granola. The table setting is superb. The staff was very polite. I would also like to mention the panel that hangs between the floors. Incredible Close to ocean and several beaches: grande and Magoito. Easy to get by bus

The pool is separated from the common area only by a glass wall, so it's not very comfortable to use it, if you prefer some privacy.

The hotel is new and stylishly designed. The staff were exceptional - polite and very helpful. There are a common area with a cozy fireplace, and the outdoor patio, both perfect spots for relaxing. They serve drinks and snacks, so having tea by the fireplace became the highlight of our stay. The surrounding village has a few nice cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

We had a lovely stay at the valley house. Pedro and the rest of the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The room was tidy and had a great view. Big shoutout for the breakfast - it was 10/10. And the common area was super cozy as well.

The breakfast and coffee is amazing. I really enjoyed being near the ocean and being able to walk around the village + walking paths everywhere, and then looked forward to coming back to rest. The hotel is extremely hospitable and easy to relax. Everything is thought of: the comfort of the room, bed, food, decor, and soaps/smells. I even braved a winter swim in the the plunge pool while it was raining outside, and it was very refreshing. 10/10 and would stay here again.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful decor, gorgeous views, excellent breakfast and lots of really thoughtful touches. This was our second visit and we have dubbed it the Tranquility Hotel. A stay of just one night with a great hike along the cliff tops with stunning views was enough to refresh and restore us both.

Minor but -- we knew before booking that the "toilet cube" mentioned by others might be an experience for those sharing a room. WC in communal area a possible solution for those thrown by situation.

We were greeted warmly upon arrival to this unique guesthouse by Catarina, who continued to be so welcoming and helpful during our 2-night stay. All the staff deserve mention / compliments, really. We stayed during a huge storm system and loved retreating to the grounded-yet-cozy vibe of the communal area and our room. We had no trouble parking on the street nearby. Fantastic large enclosed glass slower in 1 corner. Delicious fresh / healthy breakfast bar options.

The property was lovely, modern and stylish, the little sun terrace was beautiful and the ocean view from the room was perfect. Breakfast was a big hit and the local beer in the evening with complementary cake.

This is just the most stylish hotel which I have ever visited - cosy , beautiful rooms with a lot of lights and great view. Aesthetics is in absolutely each detail. Staff is amazing, breakfast is so tasty and healthy (everyone can find everything which they prefer), that we didn’t want to stop it 😄at this hotel you want to have a rest as much as you can😍
