Camilla and Augusto were super friendly hosts, always willing to help with everything. There is a nice beach for surfing closeby which can be reached by walking. Water and Coffee are free of charge and the outside area is super chill. Good vibes, I would definintely book here again.

We loved the warmth and the welcoming feeling as soon as we arrived. Augustus was friendly, relaxed and a great host with his lovely wife. they have created a calm and relaxing space with modern coastal decor and good quality interiors. They gave us a great restaurant recommendation too. We bought their ocean wine and would highly recommend the entire experience. 10 stars.

I honestly don't have improvement points, really.

I'd love everything about the stay, the service was great and the owners were so nice to me. They picked me up from the station, so that was a great start. First I stayed in the privet room, which was so lovely with a balcony and a great view. For my last night, because I wanted to stay longer, I booked the dorm which I also highly recommend. In the category dorm rooms, this one is super clean and fresh and you still have your own space. I just love this bohemian Ocean House :) Also, the nature next to it is magical.

Camille and Augustus were amazing hosts at the Ocean House! The space is so beautiful, clean and welcoming. They allow you any space to work, hang out, cook, etc.! The property is beyond expectations, they have their natural wine bar (highly recommend the tastings), we also had a food truck come by one night. It felt like a dream! The place is quiet and perfect for anyone relaxing, surfing or working from home - like me. I can't say enough good things and can't wait to stop by again one day. Thanks so much for having me!

The location is not in the town and a car is nice to have to get easily around, but one of the best beaches in Ericeira is within an walking distance.

Everything was so nice! We had low expectations because the accommodation was so cheap, but got blown away after arrival how stylish and clean the house was. The guest house looked exactly like the pictures - or even better! the owners were so friendly and they even invited us to a wine and jazz festival which was in Ericeira during our stay.

bring ear plugs if you’re sensitive to noise- it’s right at the Main Street. so you will hear cars all the time. If the pillows would be not that hard - that’s sth to be add.

It was slightly out of town, which meant that I’d have to take a taxi or cycle if I didn’t want to walk, however, that was easy to do, and I enjoyed also being out of the town.

It is such a beautiful house, well decorated with a calming boho style. It could be social but also had different areas where you can also spend time alone if wanted. The owners of the house were amazing, so helpful and went out of their way to help me. It’s walking distance to some great beaches.

This review has been hidden because it doesn't meet our guidelines.

But there were still some items which in total sum up so I just cannot rate it as 10, even if I wish: - Location is quite not convenient even for drivers. Supermarket - need to drive. Lisboa - actually it's just really far away, approx 1hr one way to Lisboa. Not much owners can do here, but it's just as I is. Also surroundings are very hilly, by foot it's just impossible. - Wi-fi was somewhat not good for constant connections and voice chats, I really had interruptions and connection issues. Also no 5g wifi. But perfectly fine for occasional smartphone, Instagram surfing etc. I don't know why, but even when sitting under the router it was still not perfect - Tap water has very bad taste and chlorine, still drinkable, but not good. - Kitchen size feels odd. Geometrically it is quite big, but organised in a such way that only one person has space to do anything. Probably needs bigger table or surfaces, not sure. - No breakfast "because low season"... - Temperature-wise it's odd. In the morning when it's still cold outside people open doors and even next to a heater (the heater, I've seen the only one in main room) it's still very cold. I think warm floors would be really great, but it's not there. - A bit more privacy for the beds would be great, some curtains or something And not like "minus", but a few notes for owners: - Given the extreme cleaningness, I would really expect "no shoes" rule, I really didn't want to walk in shoes inside. - Need "free stuff" box or shelf in a kitchen where guests can share some stuff, common food, flour, pasta etc. - For the current level of service I would somehow expect shampoo/shower gel in the bathroom.

In general it felt really great. Bright fresh hostel with nice furniture, super friendly staff and guests, very clean, kitchen in place. - Nice location next to the ocean to chill around. If you're there and don't need to go anywhere it's quite good.

It was a bit out the centre of Ericeira, but that was not a downside at all.

I loved my stay at Ocean House!! It truly felt like a home away from home! Camilla and her husband were so kind and accomodating and the interior was beautiful! Also, great to have a kitchen for cooking. Would definitely stay here again!!

The busy road next to the garden of the Guesthouse. But we knew this beforehand and it wasn’t a big problem. You are on the other hand very close to the Praia de Ribeira d'Ilhas, were it’s nice to have some drinks/lunch/dinner and watch the surfers.

The guesthouse was decorated with style and there was a very nice vibe because of the welcoming hosts and the cosy music in the communal area. The wine bar is a nice plus! Beds were also very comfortable.

The best thing about Ocean House besides its lovely interior are definitely the hosts Augusto and Camila. They are so caring and friendly, we immediately felt like home. You can really feel that they put all their passion into the guesthouse: the garden is just wonderful, everything is super clean and well kept inside and outside. No matter what we needed, we were always supported by Augusto and Camila. The dinner nights just make you feel like you sit on a long table with friends. Even after we checked-out we were invited to join one dinner. We brought over some friends and also they were raving about how welcomed they felt. This was by far one of the best experiences we ever had in a guesthouse. We‘d definitely come back!
