Too many stairs (third floor, no elevator), but it is well advertised on the property listing. Cleaning could be marginally improved.

Lots of construction near the apartment. Apartment was 3rd storey up w/no elevator which was a challenge w/ luggage (76 steps!). Couch was a bit uncomfortable and coffee table would have been useful. The following are not complaints, only suggestions for the host. In the apartment, some instructions for washer and induction stove would be helpful for visitors not used to these appliances. A note that the hot water is VERY hot would also be usefum. And the host could give an extra warning about not dead-bolting the main door at street level (again, something useful for North American visitors).

Location wonderful: two grocery stores a few doors down and wonderful public market just across the street. Close to metro. Walkable distances to river, parks, markets, craft fairs and other sites. Apartment has wifi, is bright, clean, w high ceilings & windows that open, V. good bed & linens, full kitchen which incl a clothes washer (but no detergent). Shower great. Host (Sofia) v. friendly and helpful, responded quickly to inquiries and provided info and advice on specific locations. Lots of cafes near by. A superb base for exploring Porto.

The apartment is in an excellent location - close to the metro which links to everywhere in the city; close to restaurants, shopping and and easy access to the waterfront and other sites.

Nothing major but the beds could've been a little comfier - they were a little hard. We also had a little problem with a blocked shower, but Sofia was apologetic and arranged for someone to take a look at the issue within the day.

Location was great, about a 5/10/15 minute walk to many of the attractions. There's a supermarket downstairs about 2 properties away from the apartment door. Sofia, the host was really helpful with recommendations and came earlier than the check in time allowed to hand us the keys.

The apartment is very well located. You can easily walk to the river, St. Louis bridge. There are many bars, restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast in Confeitaria do Bolhao is perfect to start a day. Sofia recommended us many places to visit and it was very helpful. You can easily get to apartment by metro (Trinidade station) and the bus to the beach stops in front of your door.

The apartment needs a bit of general maintenance and could do with a more thorough clean, especially in the bathroom. That said, we were quite comfortable during our stay and overall for money was good, thanks largely to Sofia's great communication.

Excellent location opposite the Bolhao mercado and close to the Metro. Walking distance to all old town POIs. Great communication from Sofia about arrival/check in and she gave us some great tips for things to do and places to eat. Touched base on day 3 (of 5) to offer fresh towels/cleaning and provided extra pillows on request.

Superbly packaged one bed apartment, small but perfectly formed for 3 of us. We specified 2 single beds plus the sofabed. Could have had a double bed if we wanted. Great location at top of historic area of Porto...which is a fabulous city! Surpassed our expectation. Fantastic host, really communicative, allowed us to check in early (at 1.45pm, what a boon!). Lots of great tips of where to go. Big shower and useful kitchen a real boon too

The sofa is broken and can't be used as a sofa bed. You can't sit on it as you slide off it because it won't close properly. The beds are smaller than single and very hard - I don't know how they would work if pushed together to make a king as advertised. There is as almost no room to get along the bed so you need to climb up the bed to get in. The shower does not attach to the wall so you gave to use it as a hand shower.

The location is fantastic. There are loads of great things to do in the immediate area and the market over the road is a huge bonus The air conditioning works beautifully and the flat is impeccably clean.

Great accommodation for spending a short visit to Porto. Location close to everything for your first time in Porto. Owners were responsive to all requests made.

Going up 85 flights of stairs every time you went in and out. Sleeping on very lumpy mattress, did not see any means of escape in case of fire. Sofia did not receive my email confirming my arrival because it was communicated through bookings com, consequently we were not expected and no one was there to greet us except the cleaning staff. Had we arrived later we would have been standing outside wandering if we were ripped off. It was scary.
