It was a bit of a walk up the hill from the main old city. Great for young and fit people but there is a bus stop right outside so thats a plus.

A warm welcome and very comfortable room with lots of space. Accommodation had character and well equipped kitchen. Great beds. Large garden. Clean and friendly. Bus stop right outside.

I was assigned the upper front room, which was very noisy. The house faces a busy avenue that leads in and out of town. I had to sleep with ear plugs all night. Besides, the room was very humid (my clothes got literally wet) and cold. There was no heater and no dehumidifier.

It's a former residence converted into a guesthouse, so it has a very familiar atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They're like a little family. Feels like home indeed. The room was very spacious. The backyard is a plus.

Sheets could have been better quality for the price of the room I was expecting better. Plus the curtain rail was broken and the bedside light didn’t work and the main rd was noisy !

Quite a walk up a hill - might be an issue for some. Impossibly small showers - not for + sized people at all. Bathrooms need attention.

Some other guests didn't bother to clean the kitchen and the dishes they used. There should be more signs. There was an attempt to recycle the rubbish but nobody paid heed to it. Again the signs were not very clearly displayed. The traffic noise at the front of the building was horrendous but that can't be helped.

The concept of sharing facilities. The friendly staff. The great cleaning skills of the staff. The garden and the opportunity to sit in the sun or in the shade.

Need bins in the room and a lockable area for left luggage.

Jefferson and Jessie and all staff were absolutely lovely. Just wanted to make sure I had a lovely stay. Room was large with a lovely balcony and big shuttered windows. 50 cent coffee in the morning was lovely to sit on balcony with. The walk up is past an extensive supermarket which is super handy.

There are a lot of small (and easily repairable) problems, like light bulbs blown, drains slow or leaking, flopping shower heads, sticking toilet cisterns, etc. Could have used a few more pillows and a summer sheet under the duvet.

The location was great, a quick walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The house was spacious, everyone was respectful. It is very comfortable to stay in and relax if you don't feel like going out.

The only thing that I didn’t like was Wi-Fi quality. Also I would change dishwasher to washing machine as it is much more useful in hostel. If these 2 things would change I call this hostel ideal))

This hostel is just great. The room is nice, the bed is comfortable. There is a balcony with small table and chairs with garden view. The blanket on the bed is huge, I’ve never seen so big blanket)) What I liked the most is the quantity of tableware. There was so many plates, cups, forks that I didn’t feel guilty taking one or a couple into the room. I was missing this in other hostels very much)) The staff lives in hostel so it’s always clean and there is always someone if you need any help. There is a small garden behind the hostel and you can have meal outside. There is also a grill in the garden.

My room had a particular “old-room” smell which I think wouldn’t be so bad if it was cleaned better. Floor was pretty sticky and I wasn’t provided a towel until I asked for it. Also the warm water pressure was none existent when I was there which was the worst part of my experience 😅 The house is on a heavy traffic street and my room(near the street) was soundproofed like the average tent - still quite noisy also during the night! although I wasn’t bothered by it, I wanted to mention in if other people are easily bothered by traffic noise 😊 Oh and also if you like looking at yourself in a mirror you need to go into the bathroom to do it!

I liked the house - wasn’t that busy when I was there because of bad wheather but it’s a good little place 😊
