The only two remarks: the heating in the A/C didn't really work well (we were there at the end of February and it was quite cold the first two nights). Besides, some fruit and more sandwich filling other than jam and butter would be great.

Most amazing location and scenery. It was definitely a unique experience. It's located at a very quiet location which is great if you want to escape everything for a moment. Beautifully built Pods which are surprisingly spacious. If you're traveling here I have two tips: 1. take the road on the left driving to the location and 2. buy some sandwich filling, fruit and coffee to make the simple breakfast which is provided a little bit better :)

Location is considerably easily accessible. Calheta has many cafes, restaurants, and hikes around. Note that getting around without a car is very hard. The view is amazing. Pods are secluded providing a private bubble. Sunset and sunrises are simply glorious. Extra amenities (coffee capsules, beer wine) are provided in a shared space at reasonable prices.

The hotel is located high on the hill. I do not recommend staying there without a car. Toilet paper must not be flushed down the toilet. The shower should be cleaned after every shower.

Beautiful ocean view. Very helpful staff! Total privacy and silence. There is a washing machine for a small fee. Fresh bread every morning.

Kind of humid inside the pods, so hang wet stuff outside and open doors and windows after you showered! Also, minor, but my bin in the bathroom wasn’t emptied and you can’t flush your paper here.

Incredible view, cool compact way of living. Nice green areas surrounding the pods, with a little pool. Fresh bread every morning and a little fridge were you could by stuff (some beer, wine, coffee pods for the machines, toilet paper etc). The nearest store isn’t very near, so a nice option to have.

What a wonderful vacation! The pods themselves are nice designed with a lovely chosen interior. In combination with the large terraces and the glass front it's possible to wake up with this wonderful seaside view. The opportunity to use vegetables and herbs from the garden makes cooking here even more fun. The host and her team was kind and helpful at any time. In my option the best choice for your stay on Madeira.

Everything was perfectly done. Interior, communication, quiet and beautifuly placed on the island. Nothing more than praise. Except the little dog of the owner that kept barking at us and scared us when we where parking the car.

You feel right in nature even though you're close to civilization. It's very quiet and beautiful and everything was taking care of, like jam and butter in the fridge and coffee. Very nice people. Even free bread every morning. We LOVED staying here!

Screaming kids at 8am.. I'd be willing to pay extra for the luxury of adults-only property.

I had a very chilled, relaxing stay at Calheta Glamping Pods. Each pod is equipped in everything you might need for a short stay. Beds are pretty comfortable, very soft mattress and plenty of pillows. The views from the terrace (and hammock!) are to die for!

The view from the glamping pods is amazing and Isabel is an amazing host. Every morning, fresh bread is provided, you can grab fresh veggies from the garden and Isabel immediately helped us out with a rental car when we had trouble getting one. Would highly reccomend!!

You really need a car. But there is in one km a small bar and a supermarket. Also a bus station (with a rare driving bus).

The hosts Carla and João were very friendly and courteous. All pods and the Pool have a wowing-view to the sea. Every day we got fresh bread rolls. And a levada is close to the location.

The fact that it lacks a proper breakfast offering. Bed could be more comfy.

The stunning view from the Pod balcony (180 degrees view over the south part of the island). The property offers you a “community vegetable garden” where you can pick according to your needs. Great pool and private parking spots.

It is far from the town and beach. Need a car which I did not have.

Everything else was incredible about this place. It was very peaceful and the views are amazing. The pod has all you need. I highly recommend this so anyone wanting to get some peace and quiet.

I can't say I didn't like something, everything was just awesome. From my point of view, which is very subjective, the mattress was too soft. I would also really appreciate some shelves in the kitchenette, not enough storage space for all the goodies, and some extra hooks to hang handbags or a light jacket, even in the bathroom extra hooks would be nice. But please, no complaining. Just my feelings.

I'm a traveler and I have seen many countries and places. Calheta Camping is at the top of my list. Loved the place, a super friendly and caring host- Isabel was always ready to help. I also very much appreciate how this place reflexes people's moods. I think this is one of the magic of this place, you simply forget your worries. Very peaceful and tranquil, quiet. If I'll ever return to Madeira, Glamping Pods will be my place to stay at. It's not very suitable for children. For some people big plus, for some not :-).

All was Perfect!

A great place to wind down, to rest in an intimate place with absolutely great service, great contact with the owner. Cottages equipped with everything needed, fresh bread was delivered in the morning. The houses are located in such a way that everyone is guaranteed privacy, focus only on admiring the views from the terrace. Cool thing! Swimming pool, deck chairs, shower on the pool available in the complex + beautiful and well-kept garden with so many flowers. Great location, on a hill with a beautiful and relaxing view. We highly recommend it for traveling as a couple or with a small child.

A perfect place to relax! The view from the pod is fantastic, even better than on the pictures, it was so great to just chill on the veranda looking at the ocean. The owners were friendly and super helpful. The pod is nice and cozy inside, the kitchenette is small but well equipped so definitely enough for cooking breakfast or simple pasta. We had a really amazing stay :)

Perhaps i was just unlucky but in pool area there was quite some mosquito like creatures, like bees and such. This is not a negative critique per say , since obviously the location of the lodging is in the middle of nature (that's why its so great) so it is expectable that something like this is normal and unavoidable. Nonetheless, at times, it was not so comfortable to be by the pool.

The location was beautiful ,had an amazing view and felt very peaceful. The pods are well equipped and well maintained. The management was very friendly providing courtesy bread each morning. Overall it was a very good experience.
