The outdoor pool is not heated so only usable by the very brave. Would benefit from solar heating to take the chill off the water temperature.

The staff are delightful in all categories. The breakfast selection is exceptional and the snack menu is now available until 10pm. Our room was brilliant and the terrace had our own sun loungers which meant we didn't need to go down to poolside.

We love every single thing about our stay .

Probably the most chilled out place to stay . Breakfast very generous and delicious. Our pillows and bed were the most comfortable we’ve slept on . Staff are always so friendly attentive and welcoming. We were very happy to receive an upgrade from the owner which was very much appreciated.

Municipality water supply problems for 70% of our stay and while the charges during that time were reversed we felt that more could have been done to make alternative water supplies available.

The toilet/wc in the room was really too small :( The rooms are not sound proof, we could hear our neighbors talking while they were just not talking loudly. But this won't stop us from returning!

The hotel staff is very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was lovely and the staff really nice. It felt almost like family! The food was of a high quality and fresh. Pool area nice. Rooms were also nice but a little small.

If you don’t have a car, it may be tricky to get into town. But it was not a problem for us.

The hotel was in a beautiful setting, so close to Caneiros beach and easily within driving distance to Carvoeiro for restaurants, shops, more beaches etc. The breakfast, facilities and staff were incredible. We will be returning!

Very friendly staff. Very good location, 5 minute walk from a nice beach. Well equipped room and beautiful swimming pool. Nice welcoming: you can choose any drink from the bar. Very fresh and tasty breakfast.

Great place to stay few minutes of the centre, perfect place to visit several beaches, and places in the area. The staff was friendly and helpfull. We will definitely go back when we chose that area again.

A walk in shower would have been pre, as the bath/shower combo was a bit dated and a slightly better view from the outside.

Wonderful location with the crashing sound of the waves audible from the beautiful balconies and terraces. Just a few mins walking to the awesome restaurant and beach bar with the perfect sunset views. An absolutely splendid pool. I really like the staff, each person is so genuinely friendly and welcoming. And, they speak so many languages here, it’s impressive! French, Spanish, English and of course the local one. One night we were tired from our journey and so we just dined in the hotel and it was excellent. The second night was at the hotel’s partner restaurant on the beach which is superb, fine dining.

We did like it but felt the common areas were a bit dated looking. Our room was lovely with a comfortable bed but the room was a bit small for two people trying to get ready.

The location was perfect. 2 minute walk to the best beach with a great restaurant. Breakfast by the pool was lovely with the friendliest most attentive staff.

Wonderfully peaceful boutique hotel, I think it's adults only but maybe this is only "unofficial," in any case, it was so peaceful that I fell completely asleep poolside, something which never happens. I loved this hotel, and the service, friendliness of the staff, the wonderful breakfasts and also the dinners that I had at the hotel were superb. The nearby restaurant on the beach is fabulous. It's a splurge, but worth it.

Nice hotel very close to Praia do Caneiros beach (very beautiful beach) and the cozy village of Ferragudo. Portimao and Albufeira are very close. The beaches of Marinha and Benagil are also very close. The hotel appears to have been recently refurbished. Very nice pool for an afternoon swim if you don't want to go to the beach. Excellent breakfast. The staff was very kind and professional (we especially appreciated Catarina and the two breakfast waiters)

The rooms were nice but some things could be freshened up. Specifically, the closets and bathroom. We don’t particularly care for rugs by the beds and the shag rug in the kids room was run down. As mentioned above, some music in the pool area would be nice. Bottled water should have been included in the rooms at no additional cost.

The property is well maintained and modern. Nicely situated in the village of Ferragudo and close to the beach. About a 10 minutes walk, which is considered a short distance. Plenary of parking if you have a rental car. The outdoor pool is right in the center of the property and easily accessible from the main lobby area. Quiet and serene atmosphere. The lobby generally had nice music playing by the bar, however the pool area was quiet. We had two rooms. The suit (room 204) was quite roomy and the kids room next door was nothing special. Breakfast menu was excellent and the kitchen staff amazing and attentive.
