The host is very welcoming and informative on the features of his hostel. My room was very well priced for a large, well decorated room with a balcony. I liked the multi socket plug with USB connections. Very convenient.

The only thing that wasn’t good were the showers, as essentially only one person can shower at a time unless they know each other. Also, the water wasn’t draining which is gross and the water pressure was very weak.

Apart from the showers everything was great. The owner was nice, the kitchen was well equipped etc.

No need to look further to find an attractive hostel! Handsome friendly hostel-father Antonio, a excellent hostel if you're for a short stay in Sintra to do the sight-seeing. It's a 10min. walk from the train station, comfy beds, decent great common areas and rooms, lockers to fit you valuables, size of two large-american mailboxes - bring a padlock (in case). Everything was mint-clean. Kitchen well equiped (coffee machine, stove, oven, toaster), 3€ for a laundry, restaurants around the corner, bakery next door, supermarket & public market less than 3min walk away. Antonio also has recommandations how to plan your stay. The larger rooms also looked welcoming! Obrigado!

Kitchen had limited counter space...top of washer doubled as counter top for preparing food.

Antonio was a wonderful, friendly host who welcomed us like family to the hostel. The facilities were very clean, beautiful wood floors. We had a room with three beds for our family. Two shared bathrooms for all the guests (2 toilets, 2 showers), shared kitchen, dining room, sofa area and patio. Kitchen was well supplied with cookware and dishes. Large fridges and personal storage areas. Next to the hostel is the local market with an inexpensive food court. Very convenient location.

It's easy you feel at home there. Sr. Antonio very attentive, the space is comfortable and all is clean. Location is great at the very city center. I really recommend!

Only one room in which to shower. Wasn’t a problem since were off-season and it was not a full house but could be when full. I knew when I reserved that the bunks did not have privacy curtains but I do prefer place that have them and beds with their own electrical/usb plugs.

Cleanest hostel or hotel I’ve ever been in. Beautiful rooms, Antonio the manager is very upbeat and helpful. This place is more like a B&B or a guesthouse even though the managers don’t live there and there is no breakfast, it’s more the look and feel. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and spotless. Nice terrace for the warm season. Antonio will also hold luggage so you can take advantage of your last day in Sintra.

everything!!! service was the best, location is fabulous, clean and great kitchen & bathroom. showers were nice and hot! my room was beautiful and spacious. it’s the best place I’ve stayed in 6 weeks of travelling so glad I visited! will be back one day for sure 😄
