Small things to pay attention to. It is a bit off the beaten track in a small village and if you do not have a car, it can be tricky to get to Tomar. But we had a car, so it took us only 15 minutes. It was a bit humid but this is a common problem for Portuguese houses. If you open windows for some time and turn the heater on - it will be totally fine.

Everything was really good! The host was nice and caring. The house does not look very attractive from the outside but it has a very beautiful interior, all furtniture is new, it is clean and there is a heater. The kitchen is fully-equipped. There is a cozy fireplace. The village is very calm and charming. There is much space (and we were 6 people). So we were absolutely charmed. Thank you!

Nothing to dislike

Absolutely beautiful house with amazing decor! Kitchen was equipped with everything you need and more. 2 bathrooms and 2 TV’s. We enjoyed our stay so much! The hostess Brígida is absolutely lovely!! I cannot recommend enough this beautiful house.

The property exceeded our expectations. It was larger than I'd imagined, situated in a lovely little village, but only 15 min drive to Tomar which was perfect. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could have wanted. The property was spotlessly clean and well laid out. If we visit the Tomar area another time, we'd love to stay here again :)

The hostess was so kind to give us some olive oil and prepared homemade bread for breakfast for us, which was so delicious and such a pleasant surprise! The furniture was unique made by the hosts themselves! We definitely enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house!

Nice village. Was not close to any spot we visited, but we were on the way from one place to another any way. In the morning we spent some time in the entertainment room with pool billiard and table tennis. We also did some walking in the village. Liked it.

Amazing place! Highly recommended! First of all, it's a very friendly host. She explained everything and introduced her place fast. The house is super clean and in a very quiet location. It's decorated and furnished with unique and stylish furniture. We love that place!

Absolutely nothing.

Everything, possibly the best place we stayed in a month traveling Portugal. The host was warm and welcoming. She provided some locally pressed olive oil and had a loaf of fresh bread dropped off in the morning. Beautiful fully updated home, fully stocked and very comfortable. Located in a small town minutes from Tomar surrounded by olive and cork groves.

Located in a small village which gave an authentic Portuguese experience. Fully equipped with amenities including coffee! Washer and dryer. Host Was super kind, nice and responsive. Immaculately clean. Washer was confusing for me as a non European. Best to ask how to use .

We loved our short stay in Casa da Aldeia! We specifically looked for a calm location near Tomar, not within the city, and this was a great choice - not far away by car, with a parking space at the doorstep and so silent, away from any hustle and bustle. The house is great, everything is new and spotless, exactly as it is shown on the photos. We had absolutely everything we needed for a perfect stay. One thing to highlight above all: the wonderful host, and their kindness and care!
