Very friendly and welcoming owners. Probably the most beautiful house in the village. Garden with swimming pool. Even though we were the only guests, the hosts still put an incredible effort into making an amazing breakfast for us.

This is a really classy B&B. The hosts are delightful, the property is a new, stylish construction with many cool designer touches. Breakfast was exquisite. Comfortable beds and bedroom. Nice garden with pool.

What a wonderful place to stay! We arrived early due to a storm and heavy rain and were given a super nice welcome with a nice drink. After checking in, we were welcomed by an open fireplace and were served tea and fresh, warm apple pie. That was the absolute highlight of the day. In the morning, a wonderful breakfast awaited us, lovingly prepared by the host couple. We would have liked to stay here longer, but our tour on the fisherman trail had to continue. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for these hours of pleasure!

The little village is really authentic portoguese. Really quiet and a authentic little restaurant where we had great food out of a pot :-) Alice and her husband hafe a really nice house with a perfect pool we did use frequently. She offers a perfect breakfast! Really lovely place to spend a couple of days.

we really enjoyed our stay at casa da courela! the hosts were super lovely and created a beautiful place to calm down. the breakfast was stunning as well! you will definitely need a car to discover the surroundings and to go out for dinner :)

Everything was excellent

Everything was excellent and Alice is the best host on planet earth. Super friendly, amazing breakfast, outstanding location (much better than all 5* hotels we had prior to this boutique place). I tend to say I don‘t recommend it because otherwise it‘s always fully booked when we want to return ;-) …a must visit when traveling through Portugal and definitely worthwhile to stay more fhan just 1 night because there is so many things to do in the area

Our stay was fantastic, We could not have asked for a better host, so friendly and warm, speaking to Alice and her general care made me feel like I was her son. Jose was also very warm and helpful in telling me how to navigate the area. The villa was beautiful, everything was spotless and clean, the décor had a fantastic mix of modern while keeping the authentic feel of the area/location. The breakfast was lovely, and there was enough food to feed us twice over. honestly we could not have asked for a better stay, far exceeded expectations. Thank you Alice and Jose, Hope to see you again in the near future.
