I stayed only for 1 night. The room was super clean. I liked the breakfast and the view. I'll be glad to stay there once again. Btw, we went for dinner to the closest restaurant. It was amazing.

Absolutely gorgeous mountainside location overlooking the whole valley. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the decor was beautiful..the bathroom toiletries were top quality. Our hostess Clara was warm and welcoming and so responsive to our requests. Breakfasts were delicious, and featured a selection of amazing home made fruit jams and relishes.

Wifi was slow (we were working remotely) however the property is up in the mountain so to be expected.

Clara and her husband are lovely. We were 5 couples and booked every room at Casa da Eira. We were all attending a wedding and at the last minute, transportation home from the wedding fell through. Clara's husband picked us all up and brought us home. Breakfast each morning was great. View from pool is stunning.

Amazing view. Pool was super! Lovely owner that did all she could to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was great! Clara made everyday delicious home made cakes. Because there were only four apartments, it was a cozy environment with nice guests. All was perfect.

we guess we booked the room in a hurry, but usully we take larger room with a view. so for one night it was wery good, but next time we would take one of the other amazing rooms the place has to offer.

Great and quiet location, except once a year for the town party (all night long) but we enjoyed that as well and the hosts made up for it so nothing to mention

First of all:very kind and great hosts, looking at all details for us. Very clean place and pool (please keep it like that). Ideal location to do some visits, followed by a deep dive in the pool with a view, enjoying a local wine from the owner’s friend. Very quiet place and good facilities with excellent matras and breakfast

It is a very quiet place with an amazing pool. Perfect for a few days of relaxing. Clara is also an amazing host, very kind and always ready to help! The place is perfectly clean and the breakfast is very complete, including a homemade cake.

Everything was great!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa da Eira in Elephant Room in the stunning Serra do Montejunto mountains. The view from the hotel is breathtaking, and the room decor is unbelievably tasteful. Clara, the owner, goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Additionally, the breakfast that Clara prepared in morning was a delightful and delicious way to start the day. Casa da Eira is a hidden gem that we highly recommend.

The breakfast room is a trophy room full of stuffed animals. It feels like you are in Africa. It wasn't unpleasant just a bit unexpected. I didn't mind it, but some people could find it a bit off putting.

Spectacular views, very friendly and accommodating welcome. We arrived late and had to have an early breakfast all of which Clara was happy to accommodate. The breakfast was copious and tasty. The rooms very comfortable with gorgeous views of the valley below.

The swimming pool is amazing. The weather was chilly and windy, but it was great to take a dip in the morning with a beautiful view over the valley. Clean salty water. The water is headed. The room was big, and the bathroom too. Nice decoration with a big animal picture as per the theme of the room. There are only 5 rooms, and the idea of having just one hour of breakfast is great.5 tables next to each other, one gorgeous each room. It makes all guests eat breakfast around the same time. It allows guests to exchange on expedition ideas, and general conversations start. The only thing I am not a fan of is the stuffed animals in the breakfast room. Other than that, it is perfect. The peaceful music for breakfast is a nice touch, too. Clara, the host is a gem and incredibly helpful. Even my late arrival was not a problem. I would go back any time if I get the chance.
