This is a fabulous hotel to stay in after a long day’s hike. We were greeted by Fatima who was so welcoming and pleasant. She gave us recommendations for restaurants and bars. We had a fantastic breakfast next morning which set us up very nicely for our trip to Almogarve.

Really nothing that comes to mind that we didn't like. It met all of our requirements, was priced as a great value and we enjoyed everything about this property.

The apartment was simple and set up very well. We liked having a kitchen for making our own breakfast for some of the time. However, the breakfast at the property was wonderful! Most importantly, we loved having Rudolph guide us on things we should see and restaurants we could enjoy. He was SO helpful and we can't say enough great things about him and this property. It was in a quiet location and very easy walking distance for everything we wanted to experience. We HIGHLY recommend this place!

Everything was perfect!

Rooms are stylish, spotlessly clean, cute balcony, amazing shower, beautifully ironed crisp sheets and bedding. Relaxing pool, comfortable sun loungers, manicured lawn, trees and bushes. A set breakfast which is absolutely delicious. However the 2 main features of this hotel are Rudolf and Fatima! The Managers who are so completely different and yet compliment each other so fantastically. Rudolf is charming, professional, polite and thoughtful. He helped me with SO many things but there is not enough room here to write these all down. Fatima is hilariously funny, sassy, charismatic. A woman who is beautiful both inside and out. Villa Eira was one of the most special places I have ever stayed in. If you are reading this as part of your research in finding a hotel in Vila Nova de Milfontes, do yourself a favour and stay at Villa Eira. I promise, you will not regret it. In the words of Patsy Stone - Villa Eira, Rudolf and Fatima are “Absolutely Fabulous!”

The breakfast was great but it was cash only, which would have been nice to know beforehand as we were traveling with limited cash. The bathroom is also not well set up in that water from the shower tends to leak everywhere.

Fatima was a warm and friendly host who gave us great recommendations. We felt well taken care of by her. Breakfast was also delicious and plentiful, and we were able to enjoy it outdoors on the lovely grounds of the property.

Villa Eira is a lovely, small hotel close to the town center. We were greeted warmly by our host and we had a lovely room that was spotless. We had all of the comforts we needed after a long hike on the Fishermen’s Trail. We highly recommend having the breakfast, which included the best yogurt with fresh fruit, excellent croissants and eggs if desired. we hope to return soon, some day.
