The house is located in a very remote village that is 10 minutes drive down a narrow road only space for one car at a time and no lighting at night. Mobile phone and mobile data is very weak in the area. Ceilings are very low if you are 6 foot tall (did end up with a few bangs on the head but other people did mention this) The kitchen needs more lighting as it's very dark at night

Beautiful house in a small quiet village House has been refurbished to a very high standard. Excellent outdoor cooking facilities loved the wood fired oven and bbq There's is also a wood fire stove in the kitchen that heats the open plan kitchen lounge/dining area. The host left some fire wood for us to use that was enough for our stay. There is parking at the village entrance on the road and is a very short walk the property (don't try to drive to the property as its very narrow paths)

Beautiful and cosy stonehouse. The village is very calm.

Beautiful home in a lovely village. Journey there in daylight!

It was cool in the kitchen/living room area and we didn’t see any wood for the fireplace, so we just used blankets. Getting to the location was challenging for us as being from another country, we read the address as Gois and ended up there. This was challenging as we arrived in the dark and unfortunately in rain and fog. The road in is twisty and dark and I would highly recommend arriving in the daylight. The host was helpful in helping us locate the place. It would be helpful to know once you cross the bridge, to go to the second right turn…not the first!

Loved the home. Everything needed was there and the place was so uniquely and tastefully decorated. The location was peaceful and serene. The walk between the four villages was great!
