Watering the plants during the night hours messed up our sleep a bit, still it didn't influence the whole experience.

The whole Madeira is a fairy-tale like experience, but Casa de Piedade made us feel like we entered the small piece of Alice in Wonderland and other tales. The accommodation is exceptionally clean, comfortable and lovely. We had such a nice welcome and the host made sure our stay is perfect. Also, Sao Vincente is a perfect place to come and rest.

Casa Piedade is a beautiful house in a beautiful garden with lots of plants and a pool. The room is large, the bed is very comfortable. The owner is a kind woman who welcomed us like old friends. She serves a wonderful breakfast. I hope to return one day.

I can think of only one issue is that the walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors, but it is a very old historic building so it is to be expected.

It's a wonderful place. Cozy, peaceful and very beautiful. The women who run the house are exceptional, very friendly, but leave you alone as well. It is very clean and quiet. Stunning views from the pool and a great location for all the exploring of Madeira.

Our room was quite humid with the bathroom ventilation not really doing anything, on top of that it rained the entire time we were there so it didn't help There are no really quiet room as the top floor is disturbed by breakfast and our room was next to a family room which always make more noise because of kids

I was blown away by the tranquility and the surroundings of this establishment. It is a perfect stay. I would rate it higher than any luxury hotels! Wonderfully and thoughtfully decorated. The room was cozy, the shower had good pressure. The bed was fantastic, so comfortable! The breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from. And they also have a beautiful friendly cat Tasha who is always up for company :) Next time I’m in Madeira, I will stay at this place for the whole time

A bit cold without the heater. So make sure to turn it on as soon as you arrive and check in.

1) Property is located in the great area with stunning views and in the same time, not far from many landmarks and the city. 2) Doubleroom was exactly what we needed with 2 separated rooms. Big number and we had the corner one which we really liked. Was very comfortable and clean. 3) In general hotel is like an old styled pansion from italian movies. Atmosphere is amazing. 4) Has big parking and garden with pool is simply beautiful. 5) Stuff was very helpful and friendly in the same time very professional. 6) Pretty nice sound proof + it was very quiet, this is the most important for me in the hotels.

Such a beautiful house and really quite unusual. The garden is gorgeous. We had such a lovely welcome, especially with the Madeira wine and tarts. The two ladies looked after us so well. This was the perfect base for my time in Madeira. For me, the location was unbeatable - to the quieter northern side of the island, nestled in the mountains, but also near the sea. And then the accommodation itself was fabulous - a beautifully decorated old farm house with all the necessary amenities, plus many more (pool and cute cat!). The breakfast selection was plentiful and tasty, with optional extras prepared upon request. I really have to give Rubina a special mention, not only for preparing a beautiful breakfast each morning and for the seamless check-in (on top of everything else she did!), but also for her kindness and thoughtful suggestions for my time in Madeira. She really did make my stay at Casa da Piedade all the more memorable and special ☺️

Stunning locations, hidden between mountains, great views 360, really quiet, clean, beautiful rooms with a very homely feel to it that goes throughout the whole property. Breakfast was great with everything you need provided and hot items cooked on request. Conceicao welcomed us and was the perfect host, couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
