The rooms are quite close to the area where breakfast is held in the morning. This is not a critique in itself but just a detail that guests should be aware of.

The grounds were beautiful, the place was clean and homey, I felt comfortable the moment I stepped in. I wish I could stay there longer!! The host was incredible she was so kind and hospitable. I highly recommend staying here.

A very relaxing stay , the Casa/Hotel is well located in a quiet part of Sao Vicente . With a nice pool In lovely relaxing gardens. The staff were excellent and super friendly, would highly recommend this Casa , and will definitely be back .

very friendly owner (helped us with very late check-in - 3 am - , renting a car and surprize welcome packet) swimming pool available all the time lovely stuff ❤️ beyond expectations

Nothing we didn’t like! One suggestion! We got a bit muddy and wet on some of our walks into the mountains - it would have been good if we could have had use of a washing line! The house is about a mile and a half downhill to the local restaurants - we walked each evening but just a bit too far to be comfortable - a car is recommended!

Beautiful house set in a fabulous garden. The perfect place to chill after a hard days hiking around Madeira!

Very friendly staff. Beautiful garden with swimming pool. Also very nice inner architecture of the building. Bright and clean rooms. Just a very comfortable atmosphere. Delicious breakfast without wasting food. My friend needs gluten free diet. They provided gluten free cereals. It was our fault that we informed them only one day before our arrival. Otherwise they would have offered gluten free bread to. In the north of the island gluten free food is difficult to get.

Perfect central part of the Island. Room was lovely, had an outside swimming pool with a lovely garden atmosphere. Located in a mountain pass, surrounded by tall peaks. Excellent breakfast provided, with good social communication with other guest.

The house, while well-maintained, is a historic building - if you are a very light sleeper, you might want to take earplugs :)

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the nice breakfast spread which was made vegetarian upon our request and the beautiful garden and views. The atmosphere was very peaceful and we would be happy to return any time.

We loved the location but you need to be aware that it is a good 30 minute walk to the coast and 15 to the nearest restaurant. There are taxis available.
