Very friendly host, spotlessly clean, central location

More port ha ha!

We were surprised and so happy with our complimentary bottle of Port provided with our stay. Our host was welcoming and easily contactable with any queries. Private & quiet, yet close to "out of the way" cafés and restaurants out of the very busy tourist section.

This is not a hotel. There is no breakfast, no turndown service, no staff and getting into the building is tricky if you don't have a local phone/internet. We were lucky to run into another guest who called the owner and let us in.

Excellent location, close to the Tourist Welcome Centre (Posto de Turismo). Plenty of restaurants and cafes around, although many are tourist traps. Our host, Dulce, was very generous: left us a bottle of port and plenty of guides and tourist information.

Lovely furnishings and atmosphere, looking over Quinta de Ragaleria and the evening sunsets. Staff very welcoming and helpful. It was a peaceful oasis despite being very central - only a minute walk from the tourist office.

The host was friendly, the location was great, the room was clean, the sheets were so comfy and smelled fresh, the bed was fantastic, there were plenty of towels, port wine and coffee were left as complimentary, the living area space was spacious and you could close off the bedroom. Highky recommended! A couple things to note about Sintra: You can take the urban bus to Historic Center and it drops off a couple blocks away from apartment. Secondly, the uphill walking path to the castle is Closed. I asked twice at tourist office and other people in Sintra, and there are no signs warning you. You’ll end up walking on the street. Apartment is a winner!!! I loved opening the windows and looking out!!!

Nothing to dislike - everything was perfect. I didn't read the info properly and thought we might be able to cook for ourselves, but that wasn't really necessary in Sintra anyway as there are so many good places to eat.

The location couldn't have been better, central but quiet and the apartment was really clean and comfortable. Host was very friendly and easy to contact. Would definitely go again.

Amazing location to use as a base to explore the historic town sites. The lovely provided us helpful information and restaurant recommendations. super comfortable beds, great water pressure and very clean. Check out Loja do Vinho which is a minute walk away for dinner or a glass of wine.

This didn't bother me, but important to realise that the location close to nightlife means that it is very noisy at night, particularly at weekends - earplugs were provided.

I had neighbours who came home late and made quite a bit of noise, but no fault of the owners.

Wonderful apartment in the center of old town Sintra. Walking distance to everything!

We loved staying here! The apartment is steps away from the heart of Sintra, and the windows open out onto beautiful view of the Sintra hills, valley, and even the sunset. The bed was super comfortable, and the details in the space are lovely - including beautiful tiles in the shower. The host was very friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We also appreciated the complimentary bottle of port, and Nespresso for the morning!

A wardrobe would be good to keep the clothing during our stay.

Location was very pretty. The view from was amazing. There was a welcome gift “port wine”. Host was very good and easily reachable through WhatsApp. Quite beautiful hotel. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby.
