Helena is the most amazing host, caring and helpful in all ways. She prepared a sumptuous supper and an amazing “pick nick” breakfast for us. Also washed our clothes quickly after our arrival. The room was spotless and comfortable. Highly recommended

Our hostess, Helena, who offered to wash and iron our clothes. Provided fresh lemongrass tea from the garden at breakfast Drove us out to a restaurant in the next town and split the bill with us

The accomodation is ideal for pilgrims, walking the Caminho. The room was very clean and well appointed for a short stay. However, what makes this place excellent is the host Helena. She literaly cannot do enough for you. She welcomes you with a warm greeting and a tour of the facilities. She arranged for us to be picked up by the owner of a local restaurant for a Pilgrims meal of bread cheese olives soup salad chips, a meat feast, desert coffee and a drink of your choice. All for €12. The owner then drove us back to Helenas. She joined us for breakfast the next morning and helped us plan our ongoing journey. I highly recommend staying here.

Walking the Caminho de Santiago. Excellent room and shower. NO restaurant nearby, so eat before arriving. Great breakfast before getting back on the Caminho. Laundry available; nice to get clean!

The host was so welcoming. She cooked us a traditional meal and it was delicious. Rooms were clean. Slept very well. I would recommend this stay to travelers and pilgrims making their way to Santiago.

We had a lovely stay. Helena the owner was very warm and friendly. She was very accommodating and very considerate towards us. She was even willing to cook us a nice dinner on the day we arrived very tired. Next morning she took me into the little town as I wanted to go to the shops to do a few purchases. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at her place. It was very clean and tidy and has eveything you need for a comfortable stay. On the day of our departure she showed me how to make a dessert ( Torta de Laranja) which she specially made for us to take, It was delicious. Thank you Helena for making our stay memorable. We will come again.

The food was excellent! I highly recommend eating whatever Helena prepares! The property was really nice. This was a splurge for me- good food, private room-as I am walking the Camino. Her place came after 27km of walking!

All was perfect

Elena was a wonderful host. She made us feel very welcome and spoiled us with freshly bread (Toasted) with Olive Oil and Sugar. Never had that before but it was delicious. She also served us with fresh lemon grass tea. She did our laundry, took us to the restaurant in her car and fetched us again. What an amazing caring person.

We had a great stay. The host was very nice and welcomed us with tea and toast. So tasty after a walking the Camino all day. Since it was Sunday we were offered dinner for a little extra which was well worth it. In the morning we got a lovely breakfast before we started our hiking for the day

it’s very close to the horsefair It’s a very nice house with heating and everything it’s very clean! The have a good bed with nice warm blankets! The host is very kind and speaks good English!😄 I recommend it to everyone! 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

There wasn’t much to not like, but I would say that the bed was a bit hard although I was still able to sleep.

Helena has the property fixed up very nicely, the entire lower floor is for the use of her guests so there is room to relax and the kitchen to help yourself from, although of course you have to pay for items used. She is very helpful and kind and makes her guests feel at home. The bathroom is roomy and the shower is the best we’ve had on our trip thus far! We especially appreciated that Helena offered to make dinner so we didn’t have to go out looking for food after a long, hot day of walking, and the food she made was delicious! Especially the special vegetarian meal that she made for me, I’ve never had anything quite like it and it was the best!
