Everything was great the only minor comment we could add is the room was a little bit small.

Where to start …. We had an amazing stay at Casa do Escritor. This guest house is absolutely perfect. Our lovely room was facing the beautiful garden and the pool. The breakfast was delicious and Victor is making sure that nothing is missing, there is always plenty of food in the buffet . We even had hot milk for our coffee 😉 very good location from the Praça do Geraldo. The highlight of this place is Victor, what a nice and great host, always available to help to make sure we have everything we need. Merci beaucoup Victor pour votre accueil aussi chaleureux!

Improving internet speed in the room would help. Also, much as we enjoyed the peace and tranquillity, my husband missed having a TV to listen to the news in our room at noon at night.

Victor pays close attention to making his guests feel welcome. His home is located in the center close to all attractions. It is a beautiful old home with such great character. The areas in the home are lovely, with breakfast served at either large or small tables. Breakfast service is personal, the food, fresh, ample, and provided early if needed for departure. We appreciated the personal touches Victor shared about the house and the history of the area. The room was large, the bed comfortable, the sound of the birds in the morning delightful, and the washroom updated. Lovely stay all in all. Thank you Victor.

This small boutique hotel was exactly as described. The owner, Victor, was very helpful. he had a space in his garage for our car which was lovely. Google Maps works well in Evora. Victor gave us advice on many of the small towns to visit.

Víctor was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We were enthusiastically welcomed and given a map with a detailed explanation of places to explore. Unfortunately the weather was cold and very rainy during our stay so we couldn't enjoy the garden or outside space.

This is a unique guest house, it was a privilege to stay here. Victor is a consummate host, who works very hard to make his guest's stay as perfect as possible. Very kind and helpful indeed. The location is within easy walking within the old city to places of interest.

We just had the best experience at Casa do Escritor - the host Victor welcomed us warmly, showed us around and told us what not to miss in Evora. He even helped my practice my Portuguese. In the morning he served us freshly pressed orange juice from his own garden for breakfast, it was delicious! Our room was spacious and perfectly clean and the whole Casa is decorated wonderfully. Beautiful garden with a pool and lots of places to sit and relax. We had to leave rather early on our last day so Victor prepared an early breakfast for us and took us to the train station. Extraordinary service and highly recommended!

Great location and beautiful garden close to all the sights in Evora. Victor is a wonderful host, and couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. Continental breakfast was perfect, especially the orange juice. My husband says Victor's coffee is the best he's had in Portugal. Decor in dining room and lounge was interesting. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a kettle for tea/coffee. No tv in rooms, but we caught up on our reading.
