The room was big, spotless and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioner worked perfectly and the shower in the bathroom was amazing for a relaxing shower after a long day walking around the city. Polite, nice and helpful staff. Good location, with many amenities around and transport links. Silent area in the night for a good rest.

The location is in peacfull part od town and close to metro station. The breakfast was great in a verry pretty kitchen with nice enviroment.

All was fantastic ☺️ From checking in to checking out, property it is properly maintained. Upon arrival, Daniel, our receptionist, it was always very polite and attentive to detail (he even made sure our room had the air conditioning on - so we did get a nicely “warm” welcome)

The unique inconvenience is that the hostel has no elevator. It is a 3-floor building with only stairs, so not indicated for disabled people, persons in wheelchairs, elderly persons with reduced mobility, and those who need special assistance.

Lindo Vale Guest House is a nice and warm hostel in a quiet area, but close to the metro station which permits you to afford downtown Porto easily. Rooms are comfortable, and silent, which is paramount to me, with clean bathrooms, TV, and well-furnished. The hostel provides a good service of breakfast with milk, coffee, orange juice, toast, bread, ham, cheese, fruits, cereals, etc. It is not the breakfast buffet that you find in a standard hotel with all-you-can-eat service, but it is perfect to start the day with energy and ready to explore the city. (You will not be hungry in a few hours). Remember it is a hostel, not a hotel. If you want another service, book a classical hotel. Finally, the staff is friendly and warm. They serve you breakfast every day in a lunchroom with a few tables. Normally you will find no more than 3 or 4 customers in the hostel. The day you arrive, the staff gives you the key to your room and the main entrance to enter and exit freely whenever you want. They are present from 8.30 AM until 14. That is what I say it is not a classical hotel with a 24-hour reception. A little hostel, though a well-managed business.

No window in the room itself, only in the bathroom, only one big blanket, which might be ok for couples but not as comfortable when traveling with my mum or a friend..

Close to the metro, rooms were clean and nice decorated. Bathroom was one of the best we had in our trip. Kitchen well equipped. Host cleaned room every day, which we didn't experienced in other guesthouses. Breakfast was very good as well.

We had breakfast for the first night and decided not to take it anymore. Unfortunately, we left a sack of food and for some reason the cleaning stuff throw it away by mistake :( :( :(. They offered us a free breakfast, which could be nice but we don't like the breakfast of this place.

The window in my room would not close, but luckily the weather was nice so no harm done. I informed the the sir at the reception so probably this has already been resolved :).

We had the apartment straight underneath the roof, the stairs were steep and narrow. In the apartment itself there weren't actually big windows you could open up, just little ones that didn't leave to much air in. Other than that all good.

The breakfast was not bad. But I would like to see more healthy food, such as eggs and fresh vegetables. Especially if a person is gluten intolerant.

I liked everything about it. The room was clean, comfortable and cosy like home. Everything was thought out. We arrived in the evening. We were sent detailed instructions on how to enter the property.

Could be some selection for the breakfast maybe also some vegetables. In the bathroom I'd missed some wall hook and a shower shelf.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Cosy atmosphere with a lot lovely details an decorations,for example a tea&coffee area for everybody and the possibility to use the kitchen. Good basic breakfast. Open terrace. Late stressless check-in an I could even store my luggage after check out a while to visit the city until leaving. And very clean.Well done!
