Nothing to desire.

The apartment had everything we needed. It was very clean, comfortable, quiet, and a 10-15 minute walk to every place we wanted to go. We walked to mineral baths, restaurants, and parks. Nice touch with a fruit basket on arrival, and a bag of fresh breakfast rolls left by our door every morning.

Everything was perfect!

It was a wonderful stay! The place was spacious and super clean, equipped with everything you need in the house. Pedro is an outstanding host, very communicative, and caring. Some local food welcomed us, and we got fresh bread to our door everyday! The neighborhood is quiet and safe, within walking distance from the city center. Great location to explore the rest of the island. There is no problem with parking in front of the building. I highly recommend Pedro's place when visiting the Azores, you won't be disappointed.

Well represented, easy to find, well located. Apartment was very clean & spacious and had a great little patio. Kitchen was well equipped. The owner, Pedro, was very responsive and added thoughtful touches such as fresh fruit basket on arrival, fresh milk, fresh bread rolls each morning and pods to make coffee. Groceries, restaurants and sites within easy walking access. We would definitely recommend!

We felt like we had our own little home in the beautiful village of Furnas. Casa Pacheco is well situated in a quiet part of town, yet close enough to walk to shops and cafes in the town centre. The kitchen is very well equipped and Pedro ensured we were well taken care of. We had a welcome bowl of fruit, coffee, bread, milk and even a cold beer! We loved the delivery of fresh bread each morning. The shower was wonderful. There are two spacious bedrooms plus a living room. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the garden. It was a perfect location to easily drive or walk to the two thermal pools and a quick drive to numerous historical sites and viewpoints in the area. Pedro and his father were incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt like family!

Pedro is such a sweet, generous, and responsive host. The place is centrally located in a calm neighborhood, the house is very well equipped and you'll find all utensils to prepare your breakfast, the fridge is also full from beer to juice (of course, on the house!) Pedro also offered us complimentary fresh baked bread in the morning which made our breakfast complete! Thank you Pedro for this memorable stay!

We had a really good time at Casa Pacheco. Pedro was always present, albeit virtually, super kind and super attentive that everything was perfect for us. His family lives next door. The house is super equipped and nothing is missing, including a welcome with fruit, bolos levedos, drinks, sweets and more. The terrace is fantastic for quiet, romantic evenings under the moonlight. A five-star accommodation that I can only recommend!

Pedro is a super wonderful host, the best I've ever met! He made us feel at home instantly. He was extremely helpful and friendly and gave us recommendations on where to visit and eat with a little map. There were welcome drinks (local beer and soft drinks), milk, butter, bread, fruits and locally made chocolates upon arrival. He even provided fresh bread every morning (at the door). The apartment was spacious and there was a washer. The kitchen was well-equipped with basic cooking ingredients such as oil, salt and pepper. There were a coffee machine and some capsules too. All these details demonstrated Pedro's exceptional hospitality and care for guests. [Just a minor suggestion: a little shelf can be provided in the bathroom for guests to store and access personal hygiene products (such as skincare products) :-)]

Absolutely nothing

This was just excellent. Great location (really recommended to stay overnight in Furnas, to enjoy it after the day-trippers have left). Apartment is very clean, large and has all the facilities you need. Fresh bread at the door every morning. Very enjoyable outdoor terrace with a nice view of the surrounding lush countryside. The owner Pedro, although we spoke to him only online during our stay, was more than helpful.

-Wish we had enough time to stay more than one night -Did not like the motion sensor lights in the staircase/hallway. They continually turned on and off throughout the night and were disruptive

Beautiful and quiet location. You can easily take a walk to the center of Furnas to see main attractions. House was very well equipped with many surprising details including an exceptional view from the terrace. Pedro (our host) is amazing person! He was very kind and helpful, actually one of the kindest people we've ever met. He left us some local food & drinks and we received fresh bread every morning. We felt very welcomed. Hope we'll come back!

I stayed one month at Casa Pacheco and had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. You will find everything you need and more. Pedro and his family are the kindest and most helpful hosts you can imagine. They even provided me with fresh fruits from their garden and new bed linen and towels once a week. The area is calm but at the same time you can reach everything in Furnas by foot. The best part about the apartment is the beautiful and sunny terrace. I recommend everyone coming to Furnas to stay at Casa Pacheco. I will for sure come back.

This place is situated in a quite neighbouring but within walking distance to the center of Furnas. Is is really well equipped and very clean. When we arrived we found fresh fruits and some welcome drinks. Also complimentary bread was delivered to our door handle every morning by the very helpfull owner.

This place is amazing. The apartment is so clean & comfortable and everything you need is available. The host is super friendly and always at your service! Pedro will do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible and gives great tips on local restaurants and things to do. The fridge was filled with local products as a gift and every morning you get fresh bread at the door. Free of charge! It's the best of both worlds, you get the service of a hotel but the privacy of your own home. Would definitely stay here again next time.

Nothing really. The apartment is a bit humid but it is normal with the climate there is in the island when it rains and they provide dehumidifiers, so you can get the humidity down during your stay if you need to do so.

They are the kindest hosts we have ever had, and we have travelled a lot. They went overboard to make sure our stay was perfect. They even made us a surprise for our honeymoon! The bed is very comfortable and the location excellent. We couldn't enjoy the lovely terrace due to the weather, but it is a great addition to the house. We would recommend this accomodation to anyone looking for an apartment in Sao Miguel.

The terrace is awesome and the bedrooms are comfy. All needed amenities are present. Two bedrooms on two floors (the one on top is underneath a slanted roof ceiling). Very accomodating and helpful host. Short walk to all key places in Furnas.

From start till end everything was with an extra touch of love (com capricho / mimos), some flowers on the kitchen counter on arrival, some local products ready to be tasted and some little bread buns on the door handle every morning. Besides this Pedro and his family were always ready to help with any enquiries/questions and giving plenty of tips. The apartment was perfect for us as a couple, comfortable bed, good kitchen (and plenty of appliances) and a wonderful terrace. Besides this plenty of Furnas' "attractions" are within walking distance (Terra Nostra, dona beija, caldeiras das furnas). If someday we decide to visit Furnas again, we will definitely try to book casa Pacheco again!
