The building’s entry door was broken and remained open throughout our stay. It felt unsafe. I called to inform staff who informed that someone was going to fix it but it never happened. The lamps above the bed had so much dust that when turning on the airco, dust fell onto the bed. The bedsheets of one bedroom were ragged.

Portuguese drivers use their car horns ..... a lot! So if you want peace and quiet during the day to lie in or you have a hangover, maybe not ideal! But I was only interested in sightseeing and up early and out all day so no problem, as the traffic is very quiet on that street at night time. I had no trouble at all sleeping :)

Perfect location. 5-ish minutes walk to Baixa-Chiado and Terreiro do Paco metro stations for links to everywhere easily. Also 5 minutes walk to tram and bus stops for Belem, Alfama (including the famous 28 Tram) and all the major museums and sights. Brilliantly located exactly between the 'new' town and the old town of Alfama.

The lock on the front door to the building is broken and it seems from other reviews that it has been like this for a long time. It just basically means anyone can gain access to the building from the street simply by pushing the main door. Its a small issue so I’m not sure why it can’t be addressed as it would make the building more secure. Also not having a place to store your luggage is a little inconvenient as we arrived at 7am but check in wasn’t available until 4pm. However, the cleaning staff in the building were amazing and very helpful as they allowed us to store our luggage in the cleaning room.

We liked the space in the apartment as we travelled with 3 children.

The location of the apartment was exceptional, 2 minutes from the Paco da Trabaillo metro station and the city centre. The hosts were really helpful, they answered all of our questions in advance, and provided us with every necessary info. Beds were really comfortable.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The apartment was clean, practical, and spacious. Since the windows are sound-proof, there was no problem with occasional noise from the street. The bathroom was fully equipped and very modern. Everything was in very good shape. The house itself was historical and pleasant. It was a perfect stay overall.

The dishwasher wasnt working properly - had to run multiple wash cycles. Also, it would be good to have the coffee machine available from the first day (however, they did provide it once we asked for it :))

Excellent location, one of the few properties with lift access to higher floors and beautiful, airy rooms. We had lots of towels and my son's sofa bed was all setup when we checked in around 11pm. The soundproofing was great as we didnt hear any noise from the busy road when we closed the windows in the night.

Big apartment in Lisbon center, around the corner from the Praça do Comércio, there are some really good restaurants nearnby. Inside there is the room with a bed and an extra bed in the living room. Big space and to access to the apartment/building is with codes, so no need to have keys with you.

The wooden floor outside the toilet showed signs of water damage probably due to the powerful shower spraying water everywhere. A minor issue but one that should be addressed as it spoiled the look of the apartment a little.

Comfortable room and well equipped kitchen, plenty of space in living room even with the sofa bed up. Great location and good communication with host using what's app. Close to many shops, restaurants and public transport.

The bathroom shower design was ineffective. At the end of a shower, we had to use two towels to clean up all the water on the floor that accumulated during the shower.

The area was noisy, and the bed was in bad shape; the mattress constantly fell from the bed base, so we had good and bad nights.

A small point, but it would have been useful to have had a washing machine, as we were there with our small baby.

This is a beautiful apartment very conveniently located close to the centre of Lisbon. It’s clean and spacious. The check in process was very clear snd straightforward, and there are key codes to enter both the building and the apartment which worked well for our family group meaning we didn’t need to share keys between us. Having a lift to access the apartment was very much appreciated too!

As mentioned to you, a couple of towels were dirty. Also, you might already know about this as a towel was there to stop the rain coming in, but one of the French windows was broken and did not close properly so it was a bit chilly at night (but it didn’t bother us)

Beautiful and elegant house and rooms on the most convenient location within Lisboa. Few meters from 28E tram and other public transportation, restaurants, in the heart of the lively Baixa. It was really nice to start from in the morning and return during the day or in the evening. Spotlessly clean, bright with beautiful view to the surrounding streets, balconies, nicely decorated houses. We will definitely return.

Unfortunately the neighbors cooked some interesting smelling foods which filled our apartment with a strong smell and set of the smoke alarms, so we had to evacuate. The same happened the next night (without the alarms) leaving us to believe the kitchen vents are somehow connected. The front door to the building is still broken, leaving us to believe this must be intentional based on the age of other posts about this. I would have liked that additional layer of security, although I generally felt safe in the winter in Lisbon.
