The staff is super friendly, the food is amazing and the warmth and cozyness of the hotel. Is really a relaxing atmosphere. And they are pet friendly, also super well located to go for hikes around the hotel.

A little hard to access (especially if you're not used to driving in small mountain towns)

Staff were incredibly nice, always willing to go above and beyond to help guests. Property was very pretty and cozy despite being small and in a difficult-to-reach location. Food on the property was fantastic, both at breakfast and at dinner.

The outside swimming pool water was very cold, only for the braves.

On our arrival a complementary welcome cocktail was served, that was a nice surprise. The breakfast was fantastic, with only a minus, no expresso coffee only americano being served. However, to be fair, we did not ask if they had it. The hotel diner was really nice and tasty, with a selection of wines included. The room was very clean and had a coffee machine with a few pods included, as well as tea. The staff were very welcoming and always happy to help. If you fancy a hillwalking there is one path starting at the village and ending next to the hotel (Rota da Caniça ~7Km).

The air condition didn’t work at first, but this was fixed when we asked.

A property with beautiful views and a waterfall! We loved the view from the balcony , and the calm feeling throughout. The restaurant is outstanding , as is the massage .

This was a marvellous place. We went with three kids aged 8-12, and that was good, yet the hotel does value peace and quiet and relaxation. We were warmly welcomed every day, had excellent dinners and food overall, and were happy with price-quality balance. The hotel is also in a great location for hikes and trips to the Serra da Estrela, and overall we had a really great time.

There were a lot of children there - all lovely kids but we just wish this had been more obvious before we went as we weren’t expecting this from a spa hotel and it just changed the experience being a bit noisier.

We had a wonderful time and feel really lucky to have been able to come here. It was a fantastic location for relaxing, walking and enjoying the facilities. The food is INCREDIBLE, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special and Beatriz was so kind and helpful!

Super hotel, wonderfull location. ( a bit scary to enter the small streets of the village by car but it is manageable and common to typical portuguese villages, especially in the mountains. Very clean and comfortable rooms, nice swimming pools, you can reserve (incl in your room rate) the indoor spa and pool for 30 min in private. Staff are very helpfull and attentive. Our dog got as well a welcom gift. Not far from the hotel you can do some hiking in the forest. A very relaxing stay during our trip to the south of Portugal.

The venue is amazing, on top of the mountain with a nice view on the Seia valley. The hotel is super modern and design oriented (with a scandivian touch). The staff was absolutely professional, gentle and available for all requests. The garden with swimming pool (2) was absolutely stunning and the Spa very nice and clean.

We arrived on a rainy day with limited visibility but it seems like the location is beautiful and there is much to do around. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The room itself is nice and simple and very clean and comfortable. The dinner at the restaurant was lovely. We didn't use the pools because of the weather, but it looks like a great option to enjoy. The welcome drink and chocolates were a nice gesture and overall staff went above and beyond to give us a great time.

Absolutely nothing

This is an exceptional, comfortable, relaxing property with the highest quality staff, service and food. it is a wonderful location for walking and relaxing. Although only fifteen rooms, there are three pools, booked for private use. Breakfast is excellent and must not be missed, served as late as you like. There is a great choice of food for lunch, you should have it in the terrace. Dinner in the dining room is leisurely, with different wine with each course. The library nook for reading is wonderful. This hotel is worth a detour. we will certainly return.

The drive to the hotel can be very challenging- steep , narrow streets through Lapa dos Dinheiros - not for the faint of heart drivers.

Dinner was very good if not quite excellent (although the desserts were fantastic); however, it was very reasonably priced. Air-conditioning unit could be a little more responsive. Could add a lighter (lower percentage of alcohol) Belgian beer, like Leffe or Grimbergen, to the selection.

Breakfast was perfect! Mountain views are stunning! Beautiful flora in the authentic village. Staff were very personable and showed the right level of attentiveness. The room had well-functioning facilities and was quiet and comfortable, with its own seats and table just outside. Very good selection of Belgian beers available.

If I have to point out something, would be the quality of the shampoo and conditioner. Even when using a lot of it, our hair was still very dry to the touch

The food was amazing, the service was lovely. Everyone was super kind and we really felt welcomed. It doesn't feel like a typical hotel with a big hallway and everything fancy, and we missed nothing. We even loved even more the picturesque vibes it gives, and how it blends into the mountain landscape. One of the top moments was the picnic 🧺 we ordered as an extra to take to our hike in the mountains 👌🏼
