The apartment was nicely decorated. Fully equipped kitchen with oven and dishwasher which is a big plus. Excellent and quiet location closed to all the interesting places. Close access to free parking.

For those who like firm beds it would be perfect but personally i prefer a softer/more comfortable bed.

Great location close to everything, very clean, lots of space for 3 people with pull out couch, air conditioning and parking close by. Also good communication/instructions from Property Management team.

The building itself appears to have been purchased for the purpose of conversion to two high end rental flats. While overall great, we were in fact very disappointed with two things: -The quite thin front door is secured by a small electrical latch which could likely be easily forced open with a good nudge. Somewhat unfortunately, and through no fault of the owner, the building's front door electrical combination lock happened to stop working during our stay but with the lock inoperative, it forced us and the occupants of the other flat to leave the building front door unlocked and thus actually slightly open for some of the stay, and given concerns about the flat's front door itself, did not make the flat feel particularly secure. -Be aware, the thin entranceway doors to both flats in the building also have decorative glass panelling above them, The Master ensuite bedroom immediately to the right as one enters has another glass panel above its door. Further, the opposite flat, being a different layout, leads directly into its living room, most inadvertently creating a wide light shaft from the opposite flat's living room directly into our bedroom when we were trying to sleep. Even worse, given the very thin doors, we had nocturnal guests up until almost 4am next door and were thus kept awake by both their music / conversation and the light from their living room most of the night, forcing me to finally ask them at 4am to at least turn the music down, at which point they also turned off the lights and went to bed shortly thereafter. My wife is a light sleeper and did not have a good night's sleep either night due to light and/or noise issues, sadly. :( -Be advised, Rua dos Castelos is one way and has a very tight turn to get to it. If one isn't sure of their driving ability, one might wish instead to go directly to large square at the bottom of the lane and unload or even park there.

We really loved this flat!! One goes up a shared stairway to the first floor, with a door on either side, this flat's door being the one on left. Upon entry, one enters a narrow hallway with a lovely master ensuite bedroom to the right, and a second ensuite bedroom immediately in front. To the left, one then goes up a gorgeous solid wood floor stairway to a second floor open-plan living room/dining room/kitchen and a third bathroom (toilet and sink) w a beautiful and well-apportioned roof terrace w fabulous views over the old town. It actually doesn't get much better! Beds were v comfortable, the bathrooms were luxuriously done, all tiled, it all felt very upscale, a really beautiful flat. I would be aware of the comments below for light sleepers and those who might be security conscious. Quickly addressing the two points below (re the door and the unusual glass panelling above) would make this Very Good flat at least Superb if not even exceptional, as it doesn't get much nicer. With these two issues addressed, we would easily choose to return here on a future trip to Evora, without question!!

They only offered two bath towels and one hand towel for 2 people. If we needed to take two showers during our stay, the towels were soaking wet. They also only had 2 pillows for 2 people. They should have at least 4 pillows. In their instruction manual, they should have listed the grocery stores nearby.

We LOVED our stay here! The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom is modern, and the fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed. One tip for those staying here who have a car: there's plenty of free parking within a 5 min walk from the apartment just down the hill to the south next to the elementary school. No time restrictions or charge.

1) The metal latch on the bedroom door was protruding on a narrow passage. Guests could get hurt if not careful every time they pass 2) Didn't have enough provision to hang clothes

The bedroom and bathrroom were a little small bur the bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent.

The staff was a little distant and did not provide check in or parking information until the room was ready which was after 1 pm on the day of our stay. It created anxieties when traveling on the road as we did not know what to expect. Also. It would be nice if we had received recommendations for restaurant or the local sights a few days prior so that we can make reservations. Compared to other AirBNBs, I feel this one is kind of cold and provided little service other than the accommodation itself.

Being located on a small narrow street making it difficult to load / unload luggage or having to haul the luggage up adjacent streets.

It’s central location and being inside the old city walls, with free parking within 10 walk from the property.

Air conditioning was noisy and not that cool but great ventilation when we opened the windows up.

Location was perfect, very close to the best pastry and coffee shop - pasteleria conventual de pao de rala. Great Room with TV/ Netflix etc and living space and bathroom.
