Very nice secluded property in a quiet neighborhood , very secure. Close to Sintra and Port of Cascais. The house is very quaint in a charming way, full of character. The owner ready to do everything for a pleasant stay. Also the villa has a pool, a barbecue and a beautiful garden.

Bad odour from the kitchen.

The bathroom was renovated, bed was OK, but there was very, very bad odour from the kitchen

Old accommodation but with renovated bathroom was. Far from the sea and good restaurants so I would recommend it for people that are coming by car.

Good for car travelers and temporary stay, but probably too far from the sea for longer stays during the summer season.

Spatious room and bathroom. Nice balcony with the beautiful tropical garden and a pool view. Well-equipped shared kitchen with the dining table. Free street parking.

Interesting guesthouse with Portuguese soul. Be aware, the location is quite fare away from the center, for me was OK since I came to walk around the places I haven't seen before :) Also there is reconstruction in process, so consider this. I enjoyed my stay, and I look forward to come back to amazing Cascais and Jasmim Doce 🤩

Everything was perfectly fine but except one thing. I was feeling cold at night. I was also provided a blanket but couldn’t use it because it was emitting a bad smell. Except that everything was good according to the price.

It was a nice vintage house. If anyone like to stay in a calm and vintage type of place, I would definitely recommend it. The lady of the house was also very nice.

Room was big and clean. Bathroom was renovated. There was a shared kitchen, not so big, but equipped. In the evening and morning there was people passing, but we did not know if it is staff or host. The room is situated at the second floor. The thing we did not liked at all is that on the fist floor was really bad smelling and dirty things all around, like old furniture with a lot of dust. Despite the room is good, but every time you need to pass the first floor, that looks really poorly.

It was a 30 min walk into town or Uber.

It was old Portuguese style building on several levels, lovely gardens with established trees gave the building a cool feeling. It was in the hills on the edge of Cascais with fantastic views.

The shower of room 1 was a bit meh. The location is outside the town, would've been a 30 minute walk, but if you're with a car there is free parking on the road in front.

Very friendly staff, quiet area, good value for money, with a private bathroom and a big bed.

What lovely quirky accommodation off the beaten track a little out of Cascais! The accommodation was very traditional Portuguese and clean and tidy, plenty of hot water for showers and a big room. The host met us early and let us store our baggage. He didn’t speak a lot of English but very helpful and friendly, that was part of the fun and we got by. The property is large So make sure you take note of where your room is! We didn’t use the pool but it did look lovely 🥰! Great little Portuguese bar/restaurant 5 minute walk away called Sal no Ponto also and the walk into Cascais was about 30 mins. Ubers are also very cheap however - around 5 euros.

It is being renovated, an elevator being installed, so during the daytime, it is rather noisy. But the hostess warns you beforehand, so no surprises there.

The place is as original as it gets - deep in the gardens, full of (not so) random stuff, collected over the years. Though it takes nearly 30 minutes to walk to the old town, you can call a ride for 3-5 eur. Easy. And the hostess is super nice. She speaks little English, but has everything covered with a smooth written explanation.
