The walls and doors are extremely thin so we do not recommend if you are sensitive to sound or want to be as loud as you want in a hotel room.

This was by far the best stay we've ever experienced in Europe! Although the room we stayed in didn't come with a private bathroom and shower, all of the facilities were superbly cared after, the staff were friendly and they took care of all of our wants and needs. As the other reviews mention, the breakfast is amazing (I wouldn't feel hungry until 2pm after finishing my breakfast). They were very accommodating as they even packed us a few sandwiches, bread, strawberries and yoghurt on the last day as we had to leave the hotel at 4am to catch our flight! Like mentioned earlier, this is the best treatment we have ever received!

Maybe a little bit far from downtown, but easy to travel too!

The Staff was wonderful and very helpful. The best breakfast I had in Portugal! Loved the decor and bed. A little bit small room or too big bed. The kitchen had every thing for making food yourself. Cozy livingroom too, loved the Hostel. Metro station was very close by!

The hostess is super nice and welcoming. Location is perfect, breakfast is home made and delicious, WIFI was good and rooms aren't big but cosy and beautiful. Hostess gave us bigger room for a couple of nights despite we booked a smaller one. There is everything in kitchen if you want to cook. Beds aren't very big, but comfy.

I take pleasure in writing this review, this ‘hostel’ was the most exceptional place to stay in. The rooms were beautifully designed with a nice addition of a heater/air conditioning unit within the room to personally optimise temperature. The shared facilities were all very clean and there was no rush or times of ‘busyness’. The breakfast was a bespoke service where Sarah (the host) personally made a plate for you each day according to a time chosen by you. Absolutely could not recommend this place more if I tried!!

The room was a bit small and there wasn't much space to go around the bed, but the big comfortable bed was, in my opinion, worth the trade-off.

The host was very friendly and truly made you feel comfortable. The continental breakfast was personally prepared by the host and had a wide variety of options, all of them very tasty. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was in the hallway, but it was spatious and clean. The location is right below a metro station, but my room was very quiet.

The lady on reception (Sara) was the most welcoming host. The rooms were spotless and so were the bathrooms. I would never normally use accommodation with shared facilities, but the areas were so clean and also ratio of guests to bathrooms is low. Would not hesitate to recommend! Oh and the breakfast! AMAZING!

This place is amazing. The host Sara is so attentive and friendly, the service is 5 star. Every room, including shared spaces is unique and stunningly decorated. The breakfast is the best I've ever had! Sara was brilliant in accomodating my dietary requirements, I'd go back for the breakfast alone! Situated 1 min from the metro, great location, plenty to see and do if you chose to walk in/out of the city, Lovely garden to sit out in. Host was so helpful and generous with her time in giving recommendations for what to see and do. And showed great kindness to allow me leave my bag with her for a few hours after checkout.Overall a great experience staying here. When I return to Porto I will do my best to stay here again, highly recommend!

You can see that the owner do everything for comfort of his customers. There is no private bathroom in the room, but the public ones are very clean and neat.

We arrived late at 1am due to delay flight. But owner still welcome us and served us with great breakfast the next day. Owner put in lots of effort to provide nice pastry upon our arrival. Great location to with nearby metro station.
