While there is a large and secure parking area on the property - it is difficult to get in/out of it due to the narrow & winding approach. I suggest parking your car in the little square with the statue instead to save stress! Apart from this minor issue there was nothing we didn’t like about the property 🙂

Stunning villa overlooking the magnificent Douro Valley located in a traditional little Portuguese village. We loved our stay here and were lucky enough to be able to extend for an extra night! Lovely walks to do in the area - we even walked 5kms downhill to Quinta do Tedo for lunch (caught a taxi back). The villa had everything we needed to self cater for breakfasts and dinners and was comfortable in every way. Highly recommended for your stay in this special region!

Everything was clean and the house is very cosy. It’s located in a very calm village where you could listen only the birds during the mornings. It was amazing for relaxing! The parking lot isn’t easily accessible however there is enough space to park near the house. Only a suggestion to the owner that it would be easy to identify the house if there is any sign with the name of the house turned to the main street.

A spotlessly clean, comfortable apartment. The bedroom and bathroom are stunning. Air conditioning a plus, as are the laundry facilities. Lovely terrace, great views, quiet little village. Easy access to other areas of the Douro. Parking in the apartments’ car park is tricky if you have a big car but possible. There is also some easier parking at the top of the street nearby. Need to drive to restaurants. Limited bench space to prepare food. We really loved our stay here. Easy communication with owner. Highly recommend. Thank you.

The property is down a narrow lane, brown metal gate on the right. I'm an excellent driver and driving out was a challenge. We mostly parked in the four spaces up on Rua da Capela, a short walk to the apartment. Not a problem. Neighbors were gracious and helpful.

It's a beautiful property inside and out -- many excellent design decisions. We enjoyed walking around the Adorigo village (Tabuaço district) an authentic Douro neighborhood. It's a fun ten minute drive up twisty roads from the river at Quinta do Tedo.

The kitchen could be equippt a bit better. I am visitors probably go rather out, but we wanted to prepare our own food and a few things were missing in the kitchen. There was some tea bags and coffee capsules but basic stuff like salt and maybe some olive oil would have been nice. What we noticed the most though were the thin walls to the neighbouring appartment. Laying in bed we could hear every move from the visitors next door, even switchin on and off the light switch. Which was a bit of a surprise, since this property seems very newly renovated but (noise) insulation seems neglected. But these are minor things. The whole appartment and setting is amazing and we would come back anytime

The property is very nice and pittoresk in the small village of Adorigo. The house has been rebuild with a lot of attention to details and high quality surfaces and material. Bedroom and bathroom are stunning. The views are nice. The surrounding is very quite at night, there are a lot of stars to see and the pool is amazing. There are some nice restaurants close by. We loved it

The small town had limited resources so be sure to bring what you need with you.

The apartment was wonderful. We had everything we needed. The bathroom has to be one of the nicest I have ever seen in a rental apartment. We loved the view, the terrace, and of course the pool. The pool was delightful and private even though you are in the middle of a town.

We liked everything! A little paradise in the heart of Douro! The view from the property is amazing on the vineyards and the Douro valley. The house is very clean and well equipped. I personally enjoyed the quality of the bed and the bed linen. The swimming pool is perfect to relax. There is a barbecue available which is perfect to grill some fish or meat! The village is very quiet and peaceful. If you want to immerse yourself into rural Portugal, it is the perfect place.
