Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandVery good location. Only a few minutes walk to the old town. Apartment was cleaned daily. We had a lovely view in apartment 204. Would highly recommend downloading the Bolt app. It’s similar to Uber and very cheap to get a taxi back to the apartment.

Also the door locks were being updated during our stay so our keys did not work so we had to have someone unlock our door for us every time we left.

United KingdomUnfortunately, I selected the hotel because they had a gym but this didn't open until 9am and breakfast finishes at 10:30. So going to the gym wasn't really an option if I wanted breakfast. The gym needs to open at 8am, most of us do an hour in the gym and then need to shower and change. Other than the above, everything else was fine. I'll be booking again for early June.
The location was great. The hotel was very clean and not overnight by kids. The facilities available were very good, including tennis courts. The swimming pool, sunna and steam room were superb.

I was here for just one night on a stop-over. There are two properties opposite each other. Garden is the big hotel with a pool. Atlantico (where I stayed) is more like an apartment building. Fairly basic studio overlooking the small garden. Beds, kitchen and bathroom spotless clean. Not much decoration or luxury but fine for the night. Had a late check-in (11pm) and restaurant and bar were closed. Breakfast was very good and not too crowded. Parking in the street was all occupied so I parked in the garage of Garden for 8 Euro.

United KingdomThe beds weren’t the comfiest, we stayed for 10 days with no real issues but definitely couldn’t wait to get back to my own bed. You only get one pillow which isn’t the best. We didn’t try to request more so that could be an option. They wouldn’t let us try to book a late checkout until the morning we had to leave. Then we found out the hotel was fully booked so we had to be out by 11am but we could put our luggage in the luggage room and then we were able to use the showers and changing facilities in the spa area. No soap / dishwasher tablets / cloths in the kitchen so take your own / buy your own there.
Location was great, out of the hotel, down the hill to a set of steps which took you right into old town square - literally a 3/4 min walk. Coming home up the steps was a little harder but worth it. There were spa facilities which were lovely, you do have to have a swimming cap to use the indoor pool - can be bought there. Outdoor pools were fabulous, well maintained, cold but it was March so unsurprising - kids got in every day though. Food was delicious - we just paid as we went. Fairly good value for money but obviously there are cheaper options outside of the hotel. Download the Bolt app to use taxi’s - so simple, so cheap and taxis were literally everywhere and there within 3 minutes. Taxi to marina was €3.65 and a similar price to New Town but both are walkable within 20 - 30 minutes with plenty of places to stop on the way. Rooms were cleaned every day apart from Sunday and they did a fantastic job. There was a little shop with the basics in it but a 10 minute walk up the hill takes you to Aldi and Lidl is the across the road too so you can get everything you need to have breakfast lunch etc. in your apartment if you want to.
