There was nothing not to like.

We absolutely loved this apartment. Really welcoming hosts, beautifully decorated inside and out, own private garden, extremely comfortable bed, a lazy boy sofa to relax in, all the amenities one could need and then some, and a heartwarming welcome-package. Wonderful location with a short walk to some good restaurants and a beach. Also an easy drive to the sights around like Quinta da Regaleira, Pena palace etc. Wish we spent less time in Lisbon and more time here. Would love to go back and stay longer.

Fantastic accomodation. Pictures don't do it justice. The hosts were very welcoming and very friendly . They had thought of everything you might need for your stay. A welcoming gift of pastries was a lovely touch. They.also provided other items bread rolls, fruit and other items if you wanted to cook. About a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Would not hesitate to stay again if visiting the area.

Dream of an apartment: Superior equipment, perfectly clean, fresh herbs in the garden and a great view on the atlantic ocean. Sandra and Ketan are wonderful people. Although the apartment is right behind their house, privacy was no issue at all. It doesn't get any better than this! Thx for this magnificent holiday :)

Definitely the best place I've ever stayed. Studio was super clean and literally got EVERYTHING you need. All kinda beach equipments were available, all kinda cooking stuff. Location was 10/10, walking distance to 2 beaches or by taxi/bus to other beaches.

That we could not stay forever :-)

It was incredible; we have stayed in a lot of apartments, bed and breakfasts and hotels, but this location was by far the best place we ever stayed; the owners did a perfect job; they created a magical place and used their own experiences to made sure the location had everything they were missing during various holidays; the fridge was filled with cold beers, fresh water and some food. Also, we never experienced such a warm welcome before, it felt instantly like home and we will defensive come back soon; incredible!

We literally did feel welcomed and home from the very first second! The apartment has everything you need - beach equipment, bikes, a wonderful kitchen, outdoor and indoor hangout areas, insanely clean shower & comfy bedroom. Absolutely recommendable - we will come back whenever being back in Portugal again. The location is excellent to visit beaches within walking distance and a lots of wonderful towns around to explore by car! You will hear the waves from the Atlantic Ocean when falling asleep - thanks for everything! 🙏🏿

This studio was the perfect choice for a relaxing stay at the most stunning beaches of Portugal. Strawberries, bodyboards, bike, yoga mat, a huge terrace with lots of privacy and different seating spots in the garden. In the night you could hear the sea. The studio was extremely clean & comfortable with lots of things for daily use. I would definitely recommend this studio to everybody!

The apartment is very well equipped and you will find everything regardless of you just want to prepare breakfast or even cook full meals. The hosts are very friendly and are available to answer any questions and give recommendations for nearby restaurants. We loved the hammock and the little corner outside for having breakfast outside.

Everything was above expectations

The location was great. Nice neighborhood to walk around and you can walk to the beach, cafes and small markets. The room was very clean and outfitted with modern comforts and a beachy theme. There were many thoughtful appointments which made our stay very enjoyable. There was a nice private outside patio and the kitchen had all we needed to cook meals. The bed was the most comfortable we had while in Portugal! The best part though were the hosts. From the moment we got there they did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. They had cold beer in the fridge and fresh fruit and coffee for our breakfast! They offered the use of bicycles, beach towels and chairs for a day at the beach. They checked in to make sure everything was good and since they had no one coming in that day told us we didi not have to rush out.

Nothing is ever perfect and the studio can get quite chilly during night time. Sintra is known for its moisture and humidity and its really hard to fix it. Nonetheless, the hosts are working hard to fix that and they gave me good heaters and de-humidiers to help with it. You will need a car to reach Praia das Macas, there are transports but scarce. This is a problem of Portugal in general, not the property :)

Location is in the lovely Praia das Macas, which has services and good for a relaxing escape trip. The owners are simply wonderful. Super friendly, very relaxed and ready to help you in an instant. The studio is located within their property but you actually feel you are on your own, privacy guaranteed. The sound of the ocean is there, you cannot see it but you can hear its relaxing melody. Strongly recommend.

Modern, comfortable, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, in a great location with a view of the ocean from the living area. Access and garden well designed with use of bicycles and more. Bed is very comfortable and space is good. All very clean and lovely smelling. Generously provided for when you arrive. Easy parking on the road.

Nothing about the apartment. Note that if you come with your own wheels Sintra is horrible to drive with all the one-way streets mostly not accessible for tourists. Park your car outside the centre and walk. This however has nothing to do with the apartment, where you can easily park your car for free.

Sandra is very hospitable and does everything to make you feel at home. Everything was clean and in the kitchen everything is present to make your own meal. The bed is large and comfy compared to what we had in North Portugal, and it gets comfortable warm inside (that might seem obvious until you have experienced the North :)). On walking distance to the cliffs and ocean.

The place is lovely with a great view, lovely garden and multiple places to sit/sunbathe/enjoy the weather. The hosts were very friendly and approachable people who helped us find the best beaches and spots. Upon our arrival they had put some fresh fruits from their garden and some things to cook with in the kitchen. We were allowed to use the whole garden and move things around if we wanted or needed to. They also gave us the option to use their bikes and their beach stuff such as balls, parasols and matts. We LOVED our stay and recommend it to couples who are looking for a nice, modern stay with everything you need!

We absolutely loved this place! Sandra and husband (the property's owners) were outstanding hosts, very caring, easy going and generous with extra details to make us feel welcomed and relaxed during our stay - we really appreciated their flexibility to accommodate our traveling schedules as well as readiness to answer any questions we had before arrival. The space is so lovely, immaculately clean, and full of attention to welcoming details, such as the freshly hand-picked strawberries from the patio, the wine, fruit and sweet typical pastries (just to mention a few). But also very nice-to-have extra commodities, such as the Bluetooth speaker, bbq grill, and bikes they put at our disposal. The location was great, with easy access by car and perfect parking. The front patio has a view to the sea and the perfect orientation to watch the sun set. The house is at a convenient walking distance from the beach Praia das Maçãs (7-ish minutes walk), perfect for an easy spontaneous stroll in the sand. For the sporty types, from this place we had access to some nice trails starting in Colares, going up the Serra de Sintra, as well as coastal trails towards Cabo da Roca (which we did in a full day hike). To sum it all up, we were very positively impressed with the accommodation experience at Chez Nous and enthusiastically recommend it to anyone who appreciates the sea, mountain and coast, and a quality stay in Portugal!
