The shower drain was blocked and the shower floor was full of water in the first 3-4 mins, so you had to wait a bit for it to drain, or have a very quick shower.

The apartment was very beautiful and in an excellent location, right at the city center. Very clean and tidy, spacious kitchen and living room area. 2 separate bedrooms.

More like a feedback - AC needs some desinfection, smelled like mold. Bathroom is like 3-star .. needs new silicone and ventilator. DON’T FORGET TO TAKE THE PARKING TICKETS - you don’t need a ticket during the night and Sunday, otherwise the cops are fast (6,60ero)

Nice location. Beds, sheets and towels were absolutely clean and cosy. The flat is renovated and the price was good actually. The house has traps for cockroaches which comes from the street, which is a plus. We have seen couple of bugs during the day in different parts of the island.

There wasn't much to say negatively. I think the price could be a bit more affordable for the location. For the overall quality I think it would be fair if it was a bit lower.

The windows had no blackouts and therefore everyone would wake up as soon as the sun rises, specially the children. There were curtains but clearly not enough to block the light.

Some of the appliances and fixtures need maintenance (e.g. kitchen tap, light bulbs in bedroom). We didn’t find it very easy to check in as communication with the person providing the keys was absent (tried to call/WhatsApp and no answer).

I liked that the property located in the city centre, next to a couple of hip bars. There is on street paid parking and a free parking nearby (although it was always full). Good quality/price ratio.

The stairs to the second floor were a bit difficult with luggage, but not nearly as difficult as other air bnbs in portugal.

The rooms were very clean and it was nice to have air conditioning in the bedrooms. The host was so friendly and was willing to meet us at the house at midnight after all our flight disruptions.

-the humidity in the apartment and the odor of the mold but i would imagine it could be a problem for other apartments too -quite thin walls

-nice and kind hostess Paula and her husband who did the translating :) -apartment is very well equipped with everything you need -even though the closest parking isn’t free, it’s not expensive + you can park for free in a separate parking area in de Saint Anna street which is about 300m away from the apartment -we got it at a really low price compared to other places

Centrally located. Parking is nearby and cheap in hours you have to pay. Everything is amazing about this island and people and this place.

The apartment is extremely dirty and is infested with cockroaches. By far the worst rental experience to date. Cockroaches scurrying across the floor. One of the nights a cockroach literally fell ontop of me while sleeping. Absolutely disgusting.

The host was kind and easy to communicate with. She made check-in very easy.

The flat had a cockroach infestation and I killed three cockroaches in 2 days. The property managers have a very casual attitude towards the situation and say that every house has them. We cut short our stay and moved to a clean cockroach free apartment not very far from this place

We had no hot water for 3 entire days and they knew we were travelling with our 16-month-old baby. When we made a complaint about that, the host could only say that the guests staying one floor up, probably use up the hot water before us. On the 4th day of our stay we had a cockroach invasion! Disgusting and horrifying experience. When we told them, they could only tell that this is a specialty of the island. Thank you… Besides the whole flat was humid and full of mildew. Staying there not only destroyed our holidays but affected our general health.

The location was good and that was the only advantage of the place.
