A stunning boutique hotel. The location is great, we walked everywhere. The room was modern, clean and confortable. The lobby, bar and dining are very nicely decorated. Breakfast was great and the staff working there are very friendly and helpful. We loved our time here.

Absolutely nothing.

The location is top notch. We walked everywhere. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The lobby and dining room are stunning, with old stonework contrasting nicely with modern decor. The breakfast buffet was quite varied with both warm dishes and outstanding breads and pastries. The service is superb. We travel a lot and stay in comparable luxury boutique hotels and found that the staff at this hotel was well above average, always smiling and caring, providing personalized service and attention. We absolutely loved this hotel!

The last 200 meters to the hotel were tricky. The lobby entrance is up a narrow dead end road. We scraped our rental car fender getting there, but that was a rookie mistake. Parking is a ways away from the hotel, but was fine.

Cool restored historic hotel of excellent quality. We had a king suite that happened to be on the second floor with only two small windows looking out to the building next door. Not a huge issue as they have a marvelous rooftop deck. Food was great.

All the steps to get around were difficult but that is what you expect in Porto. there really was nothing about the hotel to complain about.

The staff were excellent and so helpful. The breakfast was really lovely. I loved my little balcony but it rained so did not get the use out of it. the hotel location was very good.

We loved everything.. But the hotel is located in the histroic and slow part of Porto well away from the buzz in the very center.. This was a plus for us, but may be a minus to others.

Extremely cozy and unique Hotel. Its a new Hotel, and you can tell from the staff that its a bit unexperienced.. But its just an extra charme 😊 We got a splendid and personal service all over... Super clean, great breakfast, good cocktails..

We had such a lovely and delightful experience staying in this hotel—it was our first trip to Porto, and we came to be inspired and to relax. We couldn't have picked a better spot to explore this gorgeous city. The hotel was above and beyond our expectations, from the breakfast (amazing!), to the staff (so kind and so helpful and really went out of their way to show their care and hospitality), to the room (luxe sheets and gorgeous design) - highly recommend staying here. In fact, we stopped for lunch at another very well known 5-star hotel brand's restaurant in the city while we were walking around and it was a quite noticeably different experience (the staff were inattentive, the service slow and not personal, the food and drinks were forgettable, but the design was cool). Goes to show a good hotel is far more than just how it looks....the Hotel das Virtudes truly exceeded our expectations in every way.
