Noisy rooster outside on our first night. We moved to the opposite end. There are no views of value from rooms but we were there to sight see. Unusually Slow kitchen.

property is newish but in a restored historical building. Great rooftop Staff tried hard.

The hotel is difficult to get to by car, but that’s not unusual in Europe, however, the outside area was run down and a bit rough.

The common areas, restaurant, bar, reception, lounge are incredibly beautiful. Room and bathroom very comfortable and contemporary. Balcony overlooking the city is also very nice.

There was one night when we returned and our room was only partially cleaned. The trash was not completely emptied, we did not get all our towels, or our free water refill. It was mostly fine, but was kind of weird to come back to. We think the housekeeper may have been distracted that day. Otherwise, our rooms were very clean.

The hotel was a little hard to find initially and appears unassuming from the outside, but was pleasantly surprised upon entering. This hotel is beautiful! After staying in Alfama for several days, our room here felt luxuriously large. We loved the breakfast. There are a lot of options, even for vegetarians and vegans. The dining hall is a beautiful room to start your day. Despite being in an old building, the interior felt modern and updated with glass elevators and spacious rooms. Location is also very convenient, a short walk to the central parts of Porto and to the train station for day trips.

The property was gorgeous and beautifully renovated. The restaurant ambiance was outstanding and the food was some of the best during my one month trip. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. They went out of the way to make sure i found a gluten free Postel de Nata

Not much to be unhappy about. It was a great place.

The breakfast was excellent - fresh fruits, yogurt, eggs cooked any way you want, fresh pastries and breads, ham and salmon, cereals, coffee any way you want, fresh orange juice. The hotel was clean and modern inside walls made in the 1500's. The old medieval walls were tastefully displayed throughout the ground and first floors. The location was a quick walk to all the old structures to visit in Porto. We walked everywhere from the hotel. The hotel staff were inviting and friendly.

The hotel accommodations were outstanding. The staff was professional and so very helpful. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family. And look forward to staying here again!

For a new hotel the soundproofing could have been much better. We could hear the TV in the room next door and people walking on the corridor. Saying that it was generally very quiet and wasn't an issue. We would definitely stay again.

Proper tea at breakfast, made in a teapot with hot water. Very hard to get away from home and I need tea to start my day. Breakfast selection was very good. Lovely staff. Friendly and attentive. Couldn't be nicer. Great cocktails. Very nice room with comfortable bed and a great rainfall shower in the bathroom. We ate in the restaurant one night, the food was very good, service was excellent. Really nicely restored building. Decor and furniture in the bar were lovely. Comfortable to place to sit with a nice atmosphere. Some nice extra touches during our stay, welcome glass of port, celebratory bottle of bubbles and some Halloween cupcakes.

Parking...had to use a public lot that was pricey. The hotel is difficult to find, but well worth it. Google maps did not do a good job of navigating us to the hotel and when we arrived at the Google maps location it was down a narrow road (ally that was 2 meters wide). The hotel entrance is down this narrow street about 250 meters. Once we found it we loved staying here.

The location in the older section of Porto was wonderful, close to the river, trams and transportation. Breakfast was exceptional. The place has recently been through a major renovation so everything was quite new.

Size of the room is good for one person, it would be cramped for two. Shower is tiny.

The hotel is very new and very nice, breakfast is fantastic.

The hotel.is excellent has a great sense of style that leads to a true feeling of modern luxury. What makes the hotel exceptional though is the staff they are so friendly and attentive without being overbearing, nothing is too much trouble
