There was an awful smell in one of our rooms, to the point we had to move, and then the smell was also on the next room. We spoke with the managers and their response was to ignore us and say it wasn’t their problem. The smell was honestly truly horrendous. We were fortunate enough to have two bathrooms but one was completely unusable and the other still had a smell. We spoke with other guests and they had the same issue with a smell from the drains and the same couldn’t care less response from management. The staff in the bar were unbelievably rude and clearly hated their job and the prices were extortionate. A bottle of wine 26 eur when average in a restaurant is 18 eur. The other room we had also flooded everytime you showered. Overall I would stay away from this hotel. Massive shame as just been refurbed the but smell is just impossible to live with.

The smell was awful- its smelt like raw sewage throughout our stay - I went to the reception 3 times they just kept saying we will get someone to come and look I had to go to the supermarket to get cleaning supplies to try and disinfect the room my clothes my hair everything then smelt I started to wake up with headache and vomiting Void void void!! It's cheep but not work getting sick - we stayed for 3 nights anymore and I know we would of become very unwell We had other people staying with us and there room was the same this was not a isolated incident The pool was so dirty you could see mold everywhere

Modern beautiful boutique hotel. Right in the heart of Lagos. Extremely helpful and attentive management and staff. We spent 4 weeks in Portugal and this was by far the most impressive accommodation amongst a number of otherwise overrated, overpriced and photoshopped also-rans.

- there is a drain/sewage issue and the bathrooms and rooms absolutely stink. We had to change rooms to try to avoid this smell - as did several other people during our stay. The room change took hours and the smell was often even at the pool. - the beds were filthy. We were checking for bedbugs due to the current epidemic and we found dirt upon dirt upon dirt. - the towels were musty, smelly and dirty. We asked for new towels, they were just as bad. - the staff were understanding at first but are obviously very used to these complaints and they don't seem to care too much. They were also extremely slow. - horrible, stinking lift to the rooms

Location was grand, cheap taxis to wherever you're going. But that is the only positive of this hotel

Couldnt fault it

We stayed B&B in room 606…one of the best rooms overlooking the pool. The facilities were exactly what we required for our stay very relaxing. Breakfast was excellent everything you could want was provided. Staff were amazing…our breakfast waiter(sorry but forgot your name🫣) was lovely and brilliant as he was working alone. Although a 15 minute walk from the Old Town it was a nice walk and only €4 in a cab…great location. Finally as we left Fernando came out and shook our hands, asked about our stay was lovely and friendly, would definately recommend.

There was a terrible smell of sewerage in our entire room. I reported it twice before something was done. The cleaners came in and then the smell went away for an hour but it came back as bad as ever. Clothes began to smell of dampness from hanging up in the room. We feel we paid too much to be left smelling this and I also suffered headaches from the awful fumes. We won't return as we felt that we were fobbed off when we complained.

Air conditioning was good. Location was good. Supermarket and old town were a short walk away.

The terrible smell in the toilet, asked to get moved, which we did, next door, manager stated there hadn’t been any reports of the sewage problem even although we questioned this. Unfortunately when we returned that night the smell was present, only solution was to buy toilet cleaner to mask the smell until we came home.

The breakfast was lovely and the pool area was great, very relaxing and problem get a sun bed. Staff were helpful

Our stay could not have been better.

Our stay was incredible. The hotel was new, impeccably clean and filled with wonderful staff. Located right near the Tourist train, it was an easy way to get to the beach and around the city. Steps away from local restaurants and supermarkets, it was ideal. The pool was the best way to refresh and end our day - perfect for young family's, like ours, as the pool/bar closes early (8 PM). Shout out to Fernando, at Front Desk, who made our stay perfect. If we are every back in Albufeira - we will be staying here.

The room had a really bad odour. Despite requests to change the room, it was only done after the first night. The cleaners are horrible to deal with. They are miserly with toilet paper and soap. A 200euro cash breakage deposit is required but you are only made aware of this after you confirm the booking. Definitely wont stay here again

As soon as we arrived there was a terrible smell from one of the bathrooms! We went to reception to tell them the problem one of the staff came with us to have a look and was taken aback with the smell! And said he will talk to the manager but no one came to sort the problem. There was 4 of us using one bathroom we were there for 4 days went to reception numerous times but nothing was done. Will never use this hotel again even if it was given for free.

The room had a strench , on the 2nd floor, secondly the hotel took a refundable deposit in cash upon our arrival. This was only mentioned to me at arrival.... i have never had this before.... and they already had my credit card details on file.Also felt that some of the pool staff were extremely rude

Terrible pillows 🙈

Great location, it was amazing to have a small kitchen with fridge and microwave. Room was very cosy and clean. I'm not a big fan of hotels but this was truly excellent. Thanks!
