Dinner rates were too expensive for the overall service. Should be more accessible and offer 1 more daily option. Toaster in breakfast room takes ages to do something, one customer will use it while others won't stand a chance to get to use it. Swimming pool not adequate for children, adolescents or any person not able to swim properly. 1st step is ankle deep, next one goes straight to 1,50mt and next to 3,20mt in the larger circle area. Seagull boats could use a refreshing, they squeak too much and hardly move even without current. They could be so much more fun. No supermarkets anywhere near, only in Ferreira do Zêzere, meaning you need to go up the valley for 8km's through blind curbs and do your thing there. It is what it is, no ones fault. Noise insulation is weak, could clearly hear the roars and dialogue from national geographic couple on the next room and it was not the tv channel. ;) would be very acqward and unpleasant if staying with older family or younger kids. Question as usual is, how and who to react to something like that?

Location is the big selling point, the surrounding is wonderful and location allows you to visit many places relatively near the hotel. Staff in polite and nice to deal with. The dinner was wonderful, high grade grilled beef and a small courtesy from the house gives a pleasant impression to the paying customer. Still on the food departament, breakfast was good with diversed offering ranging from fresh fruit to scrambled eggs and bacon. Bathroom had a bath tub, such a treat when most places now only offer you a shower.

The hotel located on a beautiful location near the lake. The room and bath was very comfortable. Very kind staff and excellent breakfast. Beautiful lake view from the room.

The rooms are a little old, but well maintained. Do notice that the drive to the nearest village is about 15 minutes, so you have to be prepared with food etc.

Breakfast variaty and Quality can be improved considering it is a 4 stars hotel. General Quality of lunch and dinner Food should improve considering the prices.

The restaurant, fro the facilities, could be better... better menu, better quality. The nearest restaurant is 15 minutes away with a complicated road.

The location is stunning, near the lake. Very good to rest and for water sports. The pool is cosy and quiet.

For a 4 * hotel it’s a little tired. there are quite a few tiles missing at the edge of the pool and the food in the restaurant is very average.

Amazing location, a very good hotel, with good breakfast and dinner food. I got a mountain/garden view room, and I could still see the river and the surroundings. A perfect place for a super relaxing long weekend.

The view, the amazing and full breakfast, the many areas to sit and enjoy the place, the nature, the spacious rooms, the solar panels, the swimming pool... what a wonderful place which made me think i should have booked an entire week there !

This relates to most places with more than one room on multiple floors, which would be the soundproofing. Nevertheless, it was not disturbing at all.

A beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Dinner and breakfast were certainly value for money. Stuff were friendly and helpful. View from the room magnificent!

The carpet and room in general could do with a bit of updating. The room was very warm. We have an electric car that needed re-charging, The only charger was 2km away at there sister apartments. They could do with a charger at the hotel.

The room had an amazing view over the swimming pool and lake.

outstanding staff, great value for money stay if you want to relax, the pool isn’t quite “kid friendly”, but it’s great! Awesome breakfast. Overall I was really pleased with my stay, also the hotel has 2 small “gaivotas" where you can explore the river for 45 minutes.

It needs a bit of renovations, the proper cleaning carpets for example. And the pool needs extra step… At the breakfast constantly needed to ask staff to add food to the bufê

Very beautiful location with plenty to do around. Very cozy hotel. Needed extra bed for our 15 year old and it was for free in a seperate place by the entrance which gave as more space to move arround. Great game room(all for free at the basement- snooker, pimpong…) Very nice breakfast. The bar area is so nice with lots of sofas to read or to have a drink with beautiful view arround.
