Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The only problem we had was there were no drawers for smaller items, like t shirts and underwear etc. There was one shelf, but it was quite high in the wardrobe. We had to use our suitcase. Not a huge problem, but a slight irritation. Overall, a lovely room.
Excellent breakfast. Plenty of choice, including hot items. Always fresh. The breakfast room was, perhaps, a little small. Sometimes guests were waiting. The staff were very polite, friendly and very knowledgeable about sightseeing and transport.

SwitzerlandThe rooms were nice, clean, and modern. A steamer was available to iron clothing. There were speakers in the bedroom and bathroom, easily connected to and not visible. The hotel is very well-located. It has good breakfast offering, the staff is very kind, and you cannot hear the noise outside from the room. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. I am very thankful for my stay there!

Great stay. Hotel room was a good size. Excellent shower with wonderful water pressure. Every evening they left a little treat in our room (little fruit chocolate brownie, pasteis de nata, etc). Hotel is in a great location and super easy to get to all main attractions. Lovely little restaurants all nearby.

Right in the centre of Baixa, the location is perfect. Restaurants were literally right next door. The hotel is clean and staff is very friendly.

United StatesThere is no direct access to the front of the hotel by car. The street in front of the hotel is restricted for only the train. Hotel drop off by taxi must be one block behind or one block in front of the hotel.
I loved the location. I read the guest reviews before I booked, but I still wasn't expecting the hotel to be so well situated. It is totally accessible to all the restaurants, shopping and historical monuments. Transportation is close as well! All of the staff are welcoming and helpful. I really appreciate Carlotta and Laura for great recommendations on where to dine and the best value tours. The breakfast buffet was visually stunning, and the food options were fresh and delicious. There are other local cafes nearby, but the breakfast at the hotel for me is the best value! This hotel reminds you of train travel. It's beautiful. The rich blues and gold in the decor feel luxurious. There is a lovely, not overpowering floral scent upon entry to the hotel that engulfs you in warmth. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Eurostars Lisboa Baxia.

United KingdomWe brought our own ear plugs and enjoyed a quiet night's sleep but without them you would have heard the trams as they run directly up the street outside.
We loved everything about this hotel. It felt clean chic and calm! The staff were so accommodating and we benefitted from treats both days of our stay. Snacks and water in the lobby were appreciated and it was no trouble to store our bags on arrival and departure. The coffee machine was out of order but they had no problem bringing us freshly made coffees to our room as a substitute. Very impressed overall, and we thought the location was perfect. Just a few minutes from shops, bars restaurants and Baixa-Chiado metro, Tram 28 route and buses round the city.
