It was kind of arty/stylish with a personal character. We were given a comfortable room with a good view. Nice and welcoming reception, very well treated along our stay. Would stay here again.

Somehow the room didn’t feel very cozy. Not great lighting and the bed wasn’t comfy (a bit hard and the blankets were very thin). In the area you could find some properties that were more modern and nicer for not a big price difference, so not sure this was really the best value.

Very good location. Nice that in the room, the small balcony looks out onto an alley with restaurants so you can see people dining and soak up the vibe. Pretty sound proof in the night once you close the balcony doors. The tv had multiple channels including English movies/shows which was a bonus. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I liked that the kitchen had tea, coffee and water and a communal fridge available.

Nighttime Noise from chatting groups throughout Saturday night until 7am! Sunday gig on nearby stage started at 21.45 and continued beyond midnight! Description of room as a suite rather stretches the definition; the seating area part of the bedroom. Shower rather cramped.

The price seemed a bit higher than other hotels in Portugal but Evora may be a more expensive hotel town 2nd floor walkup (no elevator)

The bathroom in the room is tiny and a bit old fashioned, especially the shower.

The location is excellent- could not be better: right on Giraldo Square, which is a lively square with breakfast places and shops during the daytime but really quiet at night. Staff is very polite and helpful. There is a shared kitchen, with refrigerator and dishwasher and dining table and a lounge that can be used.

Nothing to complain about! A USB charger in the rooms for phones would be nice.

Can’t beat the location! Right in the heart of Evora’s main square. Was able to stroll all around and end the night with a free glass of port while we people watched from the balcony. Isidro’s restaurant recommendation was one of the best dinners we’ve had so far on our trip.

Foul oder in common area … the place smells like really bad body oder, especially in the common area. We saw no one in there during our two day stay. We did not find the place very clean … not sure when the floor in our unit was last swept, let alone washed; the night tables and other furniture were dusty and just felt dirty and sticky with spills not wiped off properly, etc. We booked a suite with what we expected to be a front view. Instead we were « upgraded » without our agreement to a studio at the back right across from the reception. First, the term « upgraded » obviously has different meanings to different people, we did not consider this an upgrade as we did not require or request a kitchen. Second, we did not request an upgrade and would have preferred to get what we booked and paid for.

Shower water can easily get on floor. Must carry bags up stairs. 20 mins to stations can get tiring, rough surfaces.

20 mins walk from bus or train stations. We arrived late so they left our door key out for us. Artful decor in building. Large room, decent bed and bath. Had to be careful to not let shower water escape. Everything worked! Restaurants and bakeries nearby. 2 night stay, nice price. I’d do it again. Evora is cool.

The mattresses were not that good and we didn't sleep well.

Unbeatable location. There is no kitchen in the room but there is a kitchenette and large parlor in the common area available 24 hours a day. It was quiet in spite of being in the heart of town. Very easy to walk anywhere. The longest walk that you'll need to go on is simply to get into town from the train station, and that isn't bad. To get around in the surroundings of the town there seem to be bus buses, there are definitely Ubers, and there are no Bolts. There are no trains between Évora and Badajoz and the buses to Spain are few and awkwardly timed and they probably need to be reserved at least 12 or 24 hours in advance. We ended up running out of options and needing to backtrack to Lisbon in order to take a bus to Seville.

Great studio and location. Perfect terase with lovely views. I wish I could stay longer. Of course it's the top floor so be aware if you can't handle many strais,but it worth the view.

Great location. Clean room with a great view of old city rooftops. Close to everything, including vegetarian restaurants. The owners are extremely friendly and eager to help and give good advice. You can store your luggage after checkout, which is a big bonus.
